Italian politician Giorgia Meloni: “I don’t believe we ought to hide our identity, in order to respect others. Which is what leftists believe. It is paradoxical to remove crucifixes from our classrooms, while accepting that entire European neighborhoods have been taken over by Islamic sharia. I don’t get it, honestly.”

It’s called “fear and subjugation” under terrorism and the threat thereof. and mozlums hate Christians and Christianity and are in the process of destroying every bit .
but, they will fail in the end, Christianity will survive…”No weapon formed against you will succeed.” That’s a Promise from God and His Son.

Somehistory,
You are right about ”No weapon formed against you will succeed.” That’s a Promise from God and His Son”
but in this case it is suicidal tendencies of the West wherein even God won’t do much except for the prayers of the righteous. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
James 5:11
At heart is the lack of self respect, self doubt, meaning of life on earth of the West. They have slipped from one evil ideology called Leftism/Marxism to the another that seeks their annihilation. These Lefties must remember that it is Christianity that taught them freedom (to do good) not the other way around.

I agree with her point of view. I hope that there are plenty of other politicians in Italy who have the same attitude, but i suspect there would not be enough of them, just as in all our western countries. Unfortunately, I do get it. Our societies ae full of people who don’t really appreciate the greatness of our western way of life and who want to cave into other far worse ways of life, and in the case of totally barbaric islam, which has nothing good to bring to any country, they want to let this poison into their countries. Too many people seem to buy all this crap about how western countries have been colonisers and damaged other, primitive countries and their peoples, when those countries had nothing worthwhile to begin with, but were backward and barbaric countries. I hope that this courageous truth teller does well in Italian politics. People like her might save the country.

Wasn’t there a man, a politician, who was *removed* after he expressed a plan, a wish, etc. to limit mozlums coming in to Italy? It’s been a few years, and countless lies from the pope and countless mozlums invading Italy.
tim gallagher says
I don’t know much about Italian politics, somehistory, except that, over many years, they seem to change their governments quite regularly. i imagine that italy would be as weak, the usual doormat situation, as all western countries seem to be. Only Hungary and the other Visegrad bloc countries seem to be tough when it comes to islam and the Muslim invaders. I haven’t heard about the politician that you mention although it sounds like it would be true.
somehistory says
thank you, Tim, for responding. He was written about here on this site. that’s mainly the reason I know anything about Italy and its government. I can recall seeing his face, and I believe his name began with the letter M, but not sure about that.
Anyway, I seem to recall that he was very vocal against the invasion, but then he was out, and even under investigation by other government officials.

Somehistory, I believe that was Matteo Salvini, Deputy PM of Italy in 2018-19. Solidly against illegal immigration, was against Turkey joining the EU, and criticized Saudi Arabia for its treatment of women. He also was concerned the rampant antisemitism of so many Muslim migrants.
I disagree with him on a few points, but overall he was very good for Italy and for the West in general. Of course, he was regularly condemned as an “Islamophobe”.
somehistory says
Silvio Berlusconi,
he was charged for fraud and other crimes, but eventually the convictions were overturned.
not an M after all.
somehistory says
thank you, g. that’s him. and it was an M. I didn’t see him, but saw the other guy who had been in the news about similar stuff. Wish my memory worked as well as it once did.
tim gallagher says
I was wondering what happened to Salvini. Thanks for the information, gravenimage. I thought that he must have just been rejected by the Italian people. He sounded like someone who might have put Italy on the right track and helped protect it from islam. He sounded a bit like Orban from Hungary. Yesterday, I went to a man’s house where he has a little recording studio and got recorded doing 8 of the songs I have written. It went well. he was a very pleasant guy, been a musician all his life, had guitars all around the place. I’ll send the songs to family and friends. the guy who recorded me agreed that it is hard to get songs out to performers these days. Maybe one day it’ll happen. I’m not too concerned about what happens. I suspect that there are endless people who have songs sitting around that are reasonably good but never get anywhere. I do hope i never get ripped off the way you did with your songs, somehistory. That would be quite annoying
somehistory says
it is annoying, Tim, thank you. and I hope you don’t either. I’ve just had to say, “oh well” and go on with life. hopefully, yours will take off and you can get some satisfaction from having others enjoy what you put together.
tim gallagher says
Thanks, somehistory. It would be good. Anyway, I enjoyed writing the songs and enjoyed getting recorded, so I’ll see what happens. It is good that I can go to this man’s house, only a 20 minute drive away and get any songs I have written recorded. I figured that until they are recorded almost no-one knows how they are meant to sound. The first guy that recorded me, a couple of years ago, was a long almost three hour drive away.

I’ll be waiting to hear your news, Tim. It is great that he is so close. that has to relieve some stress of going and singing. My brother performed in his own band when he was just a teen…singing at the local drive-in during intermission. He recorded a few songs and had several different bands during his life, but I think he never got over some of the stress of performing.
so, it’s a good thing the studio is so close. Now, the waiting. for me, when I sent some of my work off in the mail, waiting was the worst part.
there is a radio station here that plays old country after the sun goes down, and it’s really nice to hear some of the good stuff.
tim gallagher says
Thanks, somehistory. I am pretty introverted so I won’t be pushing too hard. I am sort of relying on a friend of mine who is a musician and is he liked my songs his band could play them, but they are not all that well known, and I have to say that he is an incredibly busy person. He is one of the guys I play golf with. anyway, I’m not all that bothered. I’m too old to be all the bothered either way. Regardless of what happens, I do enjoy singing, playing music and writing songs, so it works out well no matter what happens. If I’m listening to big time artists on youtube I’m always singing along with.
somehistory says
It’s good you aren’t anxious, Tim. Picking and singing can be relaxing. I don’t spend much time trying to play due to my fingers experiencing pain, but I sing some everyday. My daughter and I sound a lot alike, and we sing songs.together ..she’ll sing a line and then I do and she can whistle any tune she knows.
Singing is a great stress reliever.
Let us know when you learn something.
tim gallagher says
I will let you know if anything happens, somehistory. It sounds like it would be fun singing with your daughter, harmonising and so on. My brother and I probably sing a bit alike. That sibling harmony is definitely true. On singing being enjoyable, one of my sisters, who I have to say I have never heard singing at all, and so don’t even know if she sounds alright, has retired from working as a nurse and has taken up ukulele because she wants to join one of those ukulele groups (they have been popular out here for a while) where a bunch of people get together and sing songs because she says that just singing is good fun, which is true.
