Heartless Sinner

I could not put down Vincent and Marla’s amazing story Heartless Sinner by Erika Wilde; a hot story about mafia family members, who after agreeing to a casual, sexy arrangement find they have an emotional connection neither of them anticipated. Falling for each other was never part of the plan, but then nothing seemed to go the way they planned.Vince was the big mob boss's eldest son and heir. Although Marla was part of a lower level family, she was strong, smart, and an amazing heroine; the perfect match for Vince. They are both powerful and their attraction is strong from their first meeting. She needs his help to solve her brother's murder and his father has ordered him to find a wife. Vince agrees to help Marla find her brother’s killer provided she marry him. Vince and Marla were scorching together; their chemistry was off-the-charts and sizzling hot. Vincent is a strong and powerful man and to see him fall in love with Marla was spectacular. The way that Marla held her own, not only with Vincent, but her family and Vincent’s family proves how strong she is as well and validates that she was made to be Vincent’s partner. Even though Vincent has to be a touch man to maintain his position, it was refreshing to see that when it was just him and Marla, he was more open and personal with her. Seeing him dominate Marla in the bedroom is sizzling hot. Vince just might not be as heartless as he appears. Ms. Wilde wrote a wonderful, sizzling story; filled with off the charts, sizzling chemistry, and intense dialogue that should not be missed. This story does deal with violence, hatred, jealousy, trust, mistrust, hard decisions, and plenty of steam before Vince and Marla find a true, loving relationship. I highly recommend Heartless Sinner to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This is book one in The Made For The Mafia.Series and it is Marla and Vince's story and omg what a great start to a new series and definitely a must read. Vince is a mafia son but when his father tells him that he needs to find a wife he was not happy as he enjoyed women without all the trappings, commitment and distractions that they could bring to his job and also be wanted a woman who could be there for him regardless of the situation but he hasn't found her yet and he doesn't want to settle for less. Marla's mom is constantly going on at her to get married but as she worked for her father who is part of the mafia which she really didn't want to be part of or marry into as she wanted to leave and live her own life and marry a man of her choice who loved her for who she was but that hasn't happened yet but she was getting closer to her goals. There are twists and turns that you definitely didn't see coming along with betrayal, family, trust, loyalty, loss, hope, love and difficult situations and I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner and so addictive along with great characters and storyline that pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention throughout and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Erica Wilde is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I can't wait to read more of her books in the future. I simply LOVE a good Mafia story....and Erika Wilde did NOT disappoint! In this new series, starting with capo Vincent Russo and Marla Preston's "marriage of convenience", Ms. Wilde has set the bar VERY high for the rest of this series! This one kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end and had me turning the pages faster than I wanted to! When Vince's father puts his foot down and tells him it's time he married and started a family, Vince knows that he has to find a wife of HIS choosing, and then along comes Marla, falling right into his lap, figuratively speaking! She comes to Vince for help to avenge her brother's murder, never in a million years expecting to find the love of her life! After all, she was on the verge of getting out of the mafia, didn't want the life her mother lived, only to discover things aren't always as they appear! This one is full of the sizzling chemistry and smexy times that I've come to expect from an EW read, but it's SO. MUCH. MORE!!! I can't wait to see what the next book in this series will bring!
