Egypt pyramids tour

There has never been a journey quite like this one:  Epic. Deep. Life-Changing.

Join international bestselling author Kathleen McGowan in the midst of her stunning research into the secrets and stories of Ancient Egypt, where she has been traveling for 30 years.  Working beside her are three extraordinary, native Egyptian teachers and guides who have inspired her on her own path. Together they have planned a journey of rich experiences in history, astronomy, and archaeology combined with deep spiritual integration with a focus on the union of the Divine Feminine and Sacred Masculine. Private time in some of the most transformational chambers and temples in the world provide very special opportunities for group and personal experiences.

To the ancient Egyptian (“Kemetic”) people the Nile was a representation of the Milky Way galaxy: the temples and pyramids are aligned with specific stars and constellations, and beneath them run the powerful energetic ley lines of the land. These stunning structures harness the energy of the earth as well as the stars, but also bring heaven and earth together in perfect harmony – this is brilliantly illustrated on the walls of the temples and within the stories of the gods. As they were creating a harmonious, lush paradise on earth, the ancient Kemetic people were also using the left and the right hemispheres of the brain to create megalithic marvels, blending the heart, spirit, and mind together into one, and revering the divine masculine and feminine forces within themselves – as well as in all of creation.

The energy of these temples is as powerful and transformational as ever. We start with three nights in Giza, with private time at both the Sphinx and inside the sacred chambers of the Great Pyramid, and another two days in deeply magical Aswan, as preparation for nine blissful nights on the Nile.  Following the path of the Milky Way, we will be working with the temple energies on the levels of body, mind and spirit.  The river is our partner, the carrier of our intentions and our energy into the new world that we are creating through integrating new energies and understandings – a new spiritual ascension.

Nile cruise boat

Along the way you will be treated to myriad pleasures: guided meditations and integration sessions, Sound Baths, storytelling, dining under the stars on private islands in the Nile, swimming in fresh Nile water.  Special guests will join us for astrological interpretations and even shamanic journeying.  All activities are optional, and there is also plenty of time on the Nile to just relax, assimilate and enjoy.

You will be pampered like a pharaoh along the way in our private boats with private chefs and our nights in the 5-star, spectacular Mena House Hotel, and experience an authentic Nubian village and island in Aswan.

We have curated private, intensive experiences in five of the most significant locations in Egypt: Connect with the unparalleled, ageless energies of the Great Pyramid during our private entrance into the King’s and Queen’s Chambers. Visit the Giza Plateau to experience the timeless Sphinx and all her esoteric implications – during a private visit between her paws – and learn why we say the Sphinx is female! We will thrill to the sunrise over the incomparably beautiful Temple of Isis in Philae, and we will experience a very special journey into the Osirion in Abydos – possibly the oldest temple on the planet – to connect with the Sacred Geometry of the Flower of Life and understand the union of masculine and feminine energies in a completely unique way. Something very magical is planned for this day! Our in-depth exploration in holy Abydos continues with private time in the Temple of Seti to experience the energies of the Seven Shrines.

While cruising down the Nile we will experience the great temple of Horus at Edfu and the powerful dual temple of Kom Ombo. In Luxor, a magical visit to the enigmatic Temple of Man in the moonlight.  We experience two different meditations with the great divine feminine energies of Sekhmet, both as warrior and as mother, at magnificent Karnak Temple and explore the power of Hathor at gorgeous Dendera. All under the care of professional Egyptian guides, a world class storyteller, and a staff committed to your highest experience. The is what makes traveling with Kathleen on a Body Mind Spirit Journey – and sharing it with others of like mind and consciousness – absolutely life-changing.

He has been exploring and experiencing ancient sites from a very young age and has studied his grandfather’s teachings in depth. A gifted speaker, Mohammad will make presentations all along the way, onsite and on the boat, about the beliefs of and world view of the ancient people of these lands, as well as a fascinating introduction to archaeo-astronomy!

EGYPT TOUR ITINERARY

Giza Egypt

DAY 1- Thursday, April 6: Arrival in Cairo/Giza (D)
Arrival on our own at Cairo International Airport, where you will find our representative waiting to assist you with the formalities, drive you to our hotel and help you check-in to your room. Time to rest before our Welcome to Egypt dinner with Kathleen & the team at an elegant restaurant at our hotel.
Note: Please try to arrive before 2 pm so you will have time to get to your hotel in time for dinner with Kathleen. Pre-tour accommodation is available if you prefer to arrive a day earlier.

DAY 2- Friday, April 7: Giza Plateau Morning and Afternoon in Sakkara (B/L)
Sphinx and Great PyramidBefore you leave for your exquisite breakfast in the shade of the Great Pyramid, open your door and listen – Feel the energy of the spirits. Listen to your Egyptian brothers and sisters as they greet the day with thanksgiving. Join them as they begin a wonderful day filled with peace! Later in the morning we are off to discover some awesome Wonders of the World. To touch them and to feel them — the Great Sphinx and the Giza Plateau. Today we begin our journey of spirit and antiquity with the Sphinx – and a private visit between the paws of this profoundly powerful spiritual monument.
Step pyramidAfter our initiation with the Sphinx, we head for magnificent Sakkara with its mysterious and powerful Step Pyramid, including entry to the Pyramid of Unas with its pristine and spiritually monumental hieroglyphic “pyramid texts” and the stunning Serapeum, a massive underground tomb structure which inspires more questions. We will discuss the many theories about Sakkara, and explore its deeply sacred healing energies.  The chief themes of Egyptian sacred science were the creation of the world, and the role of humanity within creation. Egypt’s rich mythology and its profusion of mysterious symbols can be seen as an ingenious method of expressing those twin, interlocked themes. At Sakkara we begin to see these themes in action. We will have a late lunch at a picturesque, typically Egyptian family restaurant on the route back to Giza. Time to relax and enjoy our spectacular hotel this evening.

DAY 3- Saturday, April 8: Giza Plateau – New Egyptian Museum and Evening in the Great Pyramid (B/D)
Egypt museumPrepare for a day of unparalleled experiences. This morning we will explore the new Grand Egyptian Museum, a spectacular achievement of architecture and content. Scheduled for a Grand Opening in November 2022, it will be one of the largest and most spectacular museums in the world! The full range of Egyptian history can be found within this monument, and we will guide you through the highlights. We lunch at the 9 Pyramids Lounge, with its legendary view across the plateau. And in the evening, our private experience within the King’s and Queen’s chambers of the Great Pyramid.  On this Easter Eve, an unforgettable experience of Resurrection of the Spirit!

DAY 4,  Sunday, April 9: Coptic Cairo in the Morning and Afternoon Flight to Aswan (B/L/D)
Hotel Narty AswanHappy Easter! Kathleen will meet all who want to celebrate the Resurrection to watch the sunrise over the Great Pyramid from the grounds of our lovely hotel!  It’s a perfect day to explore the Egyptian roots of Christianity in Coptic Cairo. We start our day venturing into Old Cairo where we visit the Coptic Museum housing some of the finest collections of Coptic art dating back to Egypt’s earliest Christian history and features of the origins of Coptic Christianity. The mosaics and murals are drawn from ancient churches throughout Egypt and the building itself is a work of art. This museum includes collections of ancient ankhs and we can see the evolution from the ankh to the cross in these rooms!  Kathleen is an expert here, and she will show you how important Egypt was to the foundations of Christianity through many examples in this museum, including a few rare pages of the Gnostic Gospels. Then to the 4th century “Hanging Church” and we visit the underground chambers where it said that the Holy Family – Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus – stayed during their flight into Egypt.  Lunch at a local restaurant before we head to the airport for our flight to Aswan at the stunning Ashry Narty hotel.  Dinner and a fun surprise in this ancient, magical land!

Day 5- Monday, April 10: Aswan, Elephantine Island, Nubian Village Lunch, Spice Market   (B/L/D).
Nubian cultureAfter breakfast we take a quick boat trip to fascinating Elephantine Island, where there are thousands of years and layers of spiritual history. We visit the temple of Satet, a Nile goddess who forms part of a unique trinity with the god Khnum and their daughter Anuket – a trinity with a female child! Documents from 500 BC written here in Aramaic are evidence of a Jewish community and a temple on the island. The remainder of the day is spent immersed in the rich and colorful Nubian culture where we experience their lively village and dine on delicious Nubian cuisine at lunch on an island.  After lunch we visit the souk in Aswan with a special stop at a magical tea and spice shop, right out of a storybook!  Dinner at our hotel.

Day 6- Tuesday, April 11: Aswan: Biggeh Island, Lake Nasser, Papyrus Workshop, Boat Check In (B/L/D)
Abu SimbelSome will elect to take an optional early morning excursion to the temple complex of Abu Simbel while others may choose to spend the morning in the Nubian village. Lunch at Biggeh Island, with its special view of the temple of Isis at Philae. After lunch we take another boat on to Lake Nasser where our destination is the magical temple complex of Kalabsha, recognized by UNESCO as a heritage site. En route to meet our private boat accommodations and check in for the next nine days, we stop at a Papyrus workshop to see how it was made by the ancient Egyptians. Dinner on the boat.

Day 7- Wednesday, April 12: Aswan: Philae @ Sunrise, Sail to Kom Ombo, Dock in Edfu (B/L/D)
Temple of EdfuWe awaken early for our private time at the spectacular Temple of Isis on the island of Philae. Sunrise ceremony connects us to the ancient energies of this magnificent mother goddess and her unparalleled magic. Explore the temple complex in the golden light of dawn! Back to the boat for breakfast as we begin our sail up the Nile. Rest and relaxation on the river until the early afternoon when we dock to visit the Temples of Sobek & Horus at Kom Ombo. It is here that the ancient initiates would learn how to digest their fear and anger in accordance with Sobek, the crocodile god. This temple is the only one that’s dedicated to polarity, or duality, and two gods are associated with it: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus. As you face the temple, the right half is dedicated to darkness and the left side to the light. There is much to “digest” here and we will do so with a ceremony to release all that holds us back.  Overnight on the Nile Cruise.

Day 8- Thursday,  April 13: Temple of Edfu, Sailing the Nile, Lecture(s), Dock in Esna (B/L/D)
This morning after breakfast we visit Edfu, the best-preserved temple of the ancient world consecrated to the falcon headed god of kingship, Horus. Here we begin our learning about the ancient ceremony of sacred union, when the goddess Hathor sailed up the Nile to join in union with her beloved, Horus. Their annual reunion was celebrated with a huge festival of love! The walls here are books in stone, and one of the greatest treasures of antiquity. Back on the boat to our special all-glass meditation room for a talk by Kathleen about hieros gamos – sacred union – and an optional meditation and sound bath with Kathleen and Nasser. Spend the rest of the day sailing and relaxing on the Nile.  Evening lecture by Mohammad Awyan before our dinner on the boat.

Day 9- Friday, April 14: Temple of Esna, Sailing to Luxor, Luxor Temple at Night (B/L/D)
Luxor Temple at NightMorning walking excursion to the Temple of Esna, which is currently undergoing a major restoration project to restore its stunning color.  Dedicated to the Ram-headed god, Khnum, Esna is a powerful place for manifestation! Return to the boat as we sail to the ancient Thebes, the modern city of Luxor.  In the evening, we will visit the Luxor temple to view this magnificent structure under the stars. This beautiful temple was begun on the east bank of the Nile by Amenhotep III, with his wife powerful Queen Tiye, whom he dearly loved. Kathleen is obsessed with Queen Tiye (mother of Akhenaten and grandmother of Tutankhamun) and will happily talk about her emerging outline for a book about this inspirational queen! Return to the boat for our overnight.

Day 10- Saturday, April 15: Temples of Karnak, Sekhmet Day, Mut Precinct  (B/L/D)
Early morning visit to Karnak, the world’s largest temple, and experience the energies of this expansive testimony to the power of the spirit. Once connected to Luxor Temple, two miles away, by a long avenue of Sphinxes (still partially intact), Karnak is dedicated to the Powers of Creation. Karnak is the theater in which humanity plays out its destiny. In the morning we visit the Mut Precinct, where there were once 720 statues of the lion-headed goddess Mut, who is a maternal form of Sekhmet – one extraordinary version of her exists which the ancients believed held her Ka (her spirit). We will later experience the powerful Chapel of Sekhmet in her more active form as the goddess who represents the potent and purifying energies of the sun – listen closely for her message to you. Sekhmet’s name means power, and this will be a powerful day you will never forget. Return to the boat for the balance of the day free. Tonight, some storytelling from Kathleen who will also discuss her research into the women who were called the God’s Wives and their massive importance in Egyptian history.

Day 11- Sunday,  April 16: West Bank of the Nile, Medinet Habu, Deir el Medina, Carter House  (B/L/D)
Gods wife of amunToday we will visit the stunning temple of Medinet Habu, built for Rameses III. Although there is much to admire here, Kathleen will focus on the small chapels dedicated to some long forgotten holy women known as The Divine Adoratix. Are they the forerunners of the Magdalene traditions? We will discuss! Next we head toward the Valley of the Kings, where we will visit the very special village that was home to the artisans who built for the pharaohs. Their own tombs are uniquely beautiful and tell a stunning story of the spiritual lives of ancient Egyptians. After lunch we head to the home of Howard Carter, which looks almost exactly as it did when he was excavating the tomb of Tutankhamen and has an exact replica of Tut’s tomb.  Time to visit an Alabaster exhibition before heading back to the boat for our overnight.

Day 12- Monday, April 17: Sail to Qena, Temple of Dendera, Sail to Balaiyana (B/L/D)
Hathor Dendera templeToday we sail to Dendera, consecrated to Hathor, the great goddess in her role of healer, divine partner, celebrant, and mistress of the cycles of time. This incredible temple is a veritable university of esoteric knowledge. Star maps depicted on the ceilings in this temple, and the famous Dendera Zodiac point to the ancient origins of astrology and superior knowledge of our Solar System. The divine feminine surrounds you in the guise of Hathor and Dendera is the favorite temple of many for its exquisite beauty and energy. After a gorgeous day with the goddess, we head down the Nile to the place which was holiest to the ancient Egyptians – Abydos.

Day 13- Tuesday, April 18: Sail to Qena, Sail to Balaiyana, Abydos, Private Time in the Osirion (B/L/D)
flower of lifeAbydos was similar to Mecca for the ancient Egyptians – it was a place of necessary pilgrimage due to its sacred nature. The spectacular, megalithic structure known as The Osirion is the heart of Abydos, with its depictions of the Flower of Life on the huge pillars representing eternal life, resurrection, and divine union. It is said that this is the place where the sister-goddesses Isis and Nephthys “re-membered” and restored their brother Osiris following his murder, and it was believed that his head was buried here. The Osirion has been described as “built with the most enormous stones that may be seen in Egypt.” We will discuss theories around how deep into antiquity this site may stretch, and why it was considered the most important place in Egypt for thousands of years. Finally a very special and unique celebration of the love of Isis and Osiris, and the power of love to conquer all obstacles. Tonight Kathleen and Mohammad will lead us through the meaning of the Seven Shrines and their related “neters” (gods) that await us in the Temple of Seti tomorrow, and Kathleen will recount the astonishing story of Omm Sety, perhaps the greatest evidence of reincarnation in history.

Day 14- Wednesday, April 19: Abydos, Private Time in the Temple of Seti (B/L/D)
abydos hieroglyphsThis morning we visit the spectacular Seti I Temple. The carvings and reliefs in this temple are incredibly well-preserved and the essence of this place is unequalled in all of Egypt. During our private time you will have the opportunity to experience the Seven Shrines. Abydos native Nasser, who initiated Kathleen into this temple, will work with her to guide you through the temple experience.  We return to the boat for our farewell party!

Egypt Ancient Intensive Extension:
Secret Teachings of Isis and Osiris and Resurrection within the Body
April 20 to 24

Westbank of the Nile, Luxor

Isis and Osiris, by Susan Seddoun Boulet

For those who are interested in the deepest assimilation of all we have discovered and absorbed on our two-week journey, this is a special opportunity to work with Kathleen and Nasser in a smaller, more intimate setting with guaranteed one-on-one time. A maximum of 12 people can be accepted for this extension.

The Westbank of the Nile is a very special place of ancient energies, temples and the Valleys of the Kings and Queens.

Along our journey down the Nile, each passenger who signs up for the extension will be given an included initiatory treatment from Nasser, an Ancient Egyptian Foot Bath (which includes something similar to reflexology). This gives Nasser the opportunity to work with the individual energies and begin preparation for our intensive at the end of the group tour. Once in Luxor, each participant will have an included, personalized bodywork session with Nasser (additional sessions with Nasser during the group sailing time can be booked separately – a menu of his spa services will be available in advance for those who want to do some processing along the way!)

While Nasser works on the body, Kathleen works with the mind and spirit.  A hypnotherapist for 30 years, Kathleen has regressed hundreds of people with her own special, intuitive process into past life work.  There will be a directed group past-life regression session on the boat as we make our way back to Luxor. Following the regression, over the next four nights, Kathleen will work in both group sessions and individually on regression follow up sessions and other forms of integration of the Egyptian energies.

Kathleen will teach an introduction to Hieros Gamos, sacred union, and how a new understanding of reaching the divine through the union of masculine and feminine energies can change the world around us through first changing ourselves.

These are sacred and secret teachings which Kathleen has never taught outside of her own personal relationships.  She has been guided to understand that it is time for this knowledge to make its way into the world now!  Couples are welcome into these practices as well as individuals.  If you are called, please join us!

Day 15- Thursday, April 20: Overnight sail to Luxor (B,L,D)
Nile boatThose who are staying for the four-night extension / intensive in Luxor will spend a full day of relaxation and sailing on the Nile with Kathleen and Nasser in preparation, with sessions beginning on the boat. If circumstances allow, we will stop for some freshwater Nile swimming! Group discussion, followed by individual session work in the evening.

Day 16, Friday, April 21:  Arrival in Luxor and Meditation (B,L,D)
Enjoy our final day on the blessed Nile, we will have a ceremony this morning to bid farewell to its healing waters, which we hold within us now.  We dock in Luxor right after lunch and are transferred to the lovely Embrace Hotel, which is our home for the next three days.  Time to relax and settle in before an early evening group session to discuss sacred union and what it means to “resurrect while in this body.” Dinner at the hotel.  After dinner, our ritual is about balancing the feminine and the masculine.

Day 17, Saturday, April 22: In Luxor, Memnon Café, Sound Bath (B,L,D)
Today we celebrate the energies with private and group sessions, time to swim and for private relaxation or meditation in between.  Lunch at the Memnon Café, which overlooks the enormous statues of Amenhotep III.  Legend says these statues whistle in the mornings as the sun rises!  Evening meditation/ritual and a sound bath after dinner to send us off to sweet dreams!
