Qatar keeps on proving, almost daily, why it should never have been approved to host the FIFA World Cup games. The Sharia-compliant Islamic nation is proving to be unwelcoming to the world’s infidels and unfit for the job. Read more about Qatar as FIFA World Cup host HERE.
Now comes the news that Qatari officials threatened to smash Danish TV reporter Rasmus Tantholdt’s camera while he was reporting live on the World Cup. Tantholdt chided: “You have invited the whole world here. Why can’t we film? It is a public place.” But this is not how Islamic supremacist Qatari officials view the matter. Qatar’s own Ambassador to the FIFA World Cup stated that homosexuality is “damage in the mind,” and that “they have to accept our rules here”; Qatar’s Ambassador to the UN, Hend Al-Muftah, called Jews “our enemies” and called down “curse of Allah on homosexuals.”
“World Cup: Qatari officials threaten to destroy reporter’s camera while he is LIVE on TV,” by Nathan Salt, MailOnline, November 2022:
The Qatar Supreme Committee has rushed to issue an apology to Danish broadcaster TV2 after one of their journalists was threatened by security staff while live on air.
Reporting from Qatar days before the opening match of the FIFA World Cup, TV2 reporter Rasmus Tantholdt was speaking as part of a live broadcast when he was approached by security staff that had appeared on a golf buggy.
It quickly became apparent that he was not welcome to film and he was quickly threatened with having his camera smashed and destroyed.
The clip, which has gone viral across social media, showed Tantholdt switching to English to ask for clarifications on where he was allegedly misconstruing any rules on filming in Qatar.
‘You have invited the whole world here. Why can’t we film? It is a public place,’ he said.
He quickly presented his press accreditation on his phone, reaffirming their permissions to film but as one man grapples with the lens of the camera, a security guard claims the camera will be destroyed if they do not stop filming.
The Danes show their press accreditation and say they have permission to film. Then the guards follow up with a threat. If they don’t stop filming, they will destroy the camera.
‘You can break the camera,’ he added. ‘You want to break it? Go ahead. You’re threatening us by breaking the camera.’….

All foreign media should just pull their staff out of Qatar and just let there be no coverage. Similarly, don’t telecast or livestream the matches either. Just announce the scores and the points table at the end of each day from the FIFA website
In short, dry up all revenue streams of Qatar, and make this an event in which they poured in all that money for nothing

A great idea, but it will never happen due to the huge sums of money that the broadcasters had to pay in bribes to Qatar for the “privilege” of being allowed into the country to cover the event.
Add to that the disgusting corruption that is rife within FIFA, of which we can all see the results and basically, nothing will get done.

Reminds me of USSR. It was very risky ot take any sort of pictures there and would very likely lead to imprisonment for spying

A stadium built with slave labor in the 21 century in an Islamic supremist country what makes “journalist” think that freedom of the press would be respected.? The western country journalist really are idiots to think they or any foreign non-Moslem would get any respect in those hellholes. Cannot wait to see the treatment of female foreign fans not bundle up like pup tents at the games and in public places.

I’m glad to see this World Cup turning into such a mess. No alcohol at games at at football matches!! What an unbelievably stupid, and no doubt corrupt decision by the fuckwits who run FIFA to give the tournament to the barbaric Muslim country, Qatar. Unfortunately, all the fans who decided that they wanted to go and support their teams would lose their money if they decided not to go to the primitive crap hole, Qatar, but it would be great to see plenty of the fans just decide to boycott this tournament. Anyway, at least the trouble might wake a few of the slow learners up to what a load of primitive shit islam is, which would be a good outcome.

The corruption that led to Qatar being gifted the world cup is now front and centre for the whole world to see.
Did you check what is jokingly referred to as accommodation?

Yes, Keith O, I’m sure it must have been extremely corrupt, with Qatar shelling out plenty of money in bribes to get this World Cup. I did see absolutely appalling, and tiny accommodation on the TV news last night which a supporter of one of the Asian teams was complaining about and showing to the reporter. I don’t follow soccer at all, only Rugby League, so i won’t watch anything of this World Cup except the short highlights they will show on the TV news, but this should never have gone to Qatar.

This is good, maybe the millions of stupid infidels who don’t educate themselves on Islam will get a crash course on how evil these bastards are. They invite non-Muslims for this event and then treat them like garbage, the whole world needs to see this.
The sooner the West realize what rotten lowlifes Muslims are, the sooner they’ll understand that the same savages live amongst us and need to be harshly dealt with and preferably deported.

The first question of course is ‘why was Qatar chosen as the venue for the 2022 World Cup’? Why was a barbaric, medieval 3rd world country which did not have a history of playing football chosen to host the biggest, most prestigious event in world sport? The answer is obvious: it was bought at great expense from Blatter and Michel Platini. The Qataris believe, because of their religion, that all westerners are a low-form of humanity; that women are simply child-bearing creatures worthy of no respect; that 6500 dead Bangladeshi and Indian workers are not important and were just slaves anyway; that they can put westerners in tin-huts and charge $200 a night and they can get away with hundreds more immoral activities. Two days before the start of the football they banned the sale of alcohol in the grounds. Beer and football are culturally linked like horse-racing and betting. I’m sure Budweiser are not happy about this. Budweiser should sue Qatar for everything they’ve got.
The final fan-figures for the 2022 World Cup will be a disappointment and that this World Cup will have several more disasters. The heat, despite it being played in the cooler months of November and December, is still very warm at about 30 degrees. Hopefully no players will die or suffer from heat exhaustion, but the possibility is very high of it happening.
Hopefully, in future, we will only hold the World Cup in Europe and South America. This is where football was born and where it achieved the highest skill in its execution. Just think of the past’s greatest players – Pele, Stanley Matthews, George Best, Maradona and the great, almost mythical clubs Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona, Paris SG, and many others.
It is possible that football in general will suffer from this rash decision. The decision of where to play the next 2 World Cups will be of crucial importance. The organisers will need to pick venues in Europe or South America. A venue in the Middle East can never be chosen again.
FIFA will need to remember that it depends a grat deal on sponsorship from European and American money, billions of pounds and dollars; that could dry up very quickly.
