Israeli military killed two terrorists belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist group who attacked them near the Palestinian Authority-controlled town of Jenin.
The incident occurred on Friday night when a group of jihadis opened fire at the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) while they were on a counter-terrorism operation in the area.
The Israeli “military said its soldiers opened fire in the village of Jaba after gunmen in a passing vehicle shot at them. They said that soldiers later confiscated an M-16 rifle from the vehicle,” the Associated Press confirmed.
In recent years, the Palestinian town of Jenin has emerged as the leading jihad terrorist stronghold. Many of the terrorists, who carried deadly of attacks in cities across Israel in 2022, came from this town. The IDF soldiers are regularly ambushed by terrorist gunmen when they approach the city in search of wanted terror suspects.
The Israel TV channel i24news reported failed jihad attack:
Two terrorists were killed on Friday night after shooting at Israeli forces from a passing vehicle near Jenin in the West Bank, according to Hebrew media reports.
The Islamic Jihad terrorists opened fire at Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers who were conducting counterterrorism activities adjacent to the village of Jaba’.
Soldiers responded with gunfire, according to an IDF statement. According to Palestinian medical sources, Izz ad-Din Hammara, 24, and Amjad Khaliliya, 23, were active in the Jaba’ Battalion of the Islamic Jihad’s armed wing in Jenin. Soldiers found an M-16 rifle during the search of the vehicle, which was confiscated.
No casualties to Israeli forces were reported. As part of the ongoing “Operation Break the Wave,” IDF forces have conducted nightly raids on terrorist targets in Palestinian towns and villages across the West Bank, sometimes facing violent opposition to their presence.
In keeping with its jihadi tradition, Palestinian leadership glorified the dead terrorists. Gaza-based Islamic terrorist group Hamas and PLO-Fatah, which controls the Palestinian Authority, praised the slain jihadis for their attempted terrorist attack on Israeli soldiers, describing them as “martyrs” and “young” men.
The Jerusalem Post reported the Palestinian response:
Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qassem, responded to the incident and said that “the martyrs of Jenin who were killed this morning have joined the glory of our people as we continue our courageous resistance and its fight against the occupation. The courage that Jenin shows with all the Palestinian cities is the fuel of victory and liberation.”
Fatah spokesman, Munder al-Haik, stated that “the Zionist terrorist government committed a new crime in Jaba’ when they murdered the two young Palestinians (…).”

According to jihadists, you do not have the right to defend yourself if you are attacked.
What sickos these jihadists really are.
