Angered by an Israeli counter-terrorism raid on Thursday that eliminated an Islamic terror cell in the Palestinian-controlled town on Jenin, Palestinian terrorist groups have vowed to avenge the slain terrorists.
Thursday morning, Israel’s security forces busted a terror cell belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and killed at least ten terrorists in the resulting firefight. The Israeli military describe the Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror cell as a “ticking time bomb” which was plotting to carry out attacks inside Israel. “Israeli security forces “dismantled a ticking time bomb” in Thursday morning’s raid on a terrorist cell planning to carry out an attack on a civilian target in Israel, a senior Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officer said,” the Israel TV channel i24news reported.
Enraged by the Israeli anti-terror raid, terrorists based in Gaza – a territory under the control of Islamic terrorist group Hamas — fired rockets at Israeli cities and towns in southern Israel.
The two rockets were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded by hitting a rocket manufacturing facility in Gaza. “The IDF on Friday carried out strikes against targets in Gaza including an underground rocket production facility, the military said, The Israeli news website Ynet reported. “The IDF spokesperson said Israel regards the Gaza-ruling Hamas organization as responsible for rockets fired from their territory and would be made to pay and that targeting their facilities would impact their ability to produce more weapons,” the news outlet added.
“IDF targets Hamas sites in Gaza in response to rocket fire,” Jerusalem Post, January 26, 2023:
The IAF targeted an underground rocket production facility and a “significant” military camp belonging to Hamas in the central and northern Gaza Strip early Friday morning after rockets were fired from Gaza towards southern Israel.
The rocket fire came hours after an IDF raid in Jenin which resulted in nine Palestinian deaths.
The Iron Dome intercepted two rockets fired from Gaza toward Ashkelon and communities near the Gaza border on Thursday evening. During the IAF strikes overnight, additional rockets were fired towards southern Israel. In total, seven rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel overnight.
“A short time ago an alarm was sounded in the city of Ashkelon. These two launches towards the city were intercepted by the Iron Dome system,” said the Ashkelon Municipality spokesperson. “We would like to add that following the security tensions, the public shelters and shelters throughout the city are open for the welfare of residents… the municipal teams are fully alert and prepared for any scenario.”
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated on Friday morning that he had instructed the defense establishment to “prepare for action with a variety of offensive measures and high-quality targets, in case it is necessary to continue to act – until peace is restored to the citizens of Israel.”
A senior IDF officer said in a press briefing earlier on Thursday that they were prepared for an escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip in response to Thursday’s raid.
“IDF kills Palestinian man who attacked soldiers with knife in West Bank,” by Yonah Jeremy Bob, Jerusalem Post, January 25, 2023:
An IDF soldier on Wednesday shot and killed a Palestinian terrorist who attacked him and multiple other soldiers at a checkpoint near Kedumim with a knife.
Video footage shows an IDF soldier approaching a red car in a line between two other cars to perform a standard security check.
The Palestinian initially slowly gets out of the car with no sign of danger, but then suddenly dashes toward the IDF soldier brandishing the knife.
At first, the IDF soldier runs backward away from the Palestinian while keeping his gun aimed at the terrorist.
Seeing that this first soldier has a gun aimed at him and is moving away, the Palestinian changes direction and runs toward other soldiers at the checkpoint.
At this point, IDF soldiers opened fire, killing the Palestinian terrorist.

The IDF is impressive, but the problem is they fight wars to maintain a status quo than to work for outright victory for them and total defeat for their enemies. That is a huge problem and I’m concerned the West is also heading in that direction. Using so-called ‘proportional response’ instead of eradication.
If we used that foolish strategy against other enemies, say the Nazis, it’d just give them a chance to rebuild and keep hitting us over and over again, ad infinitum. Israel’s leaders aren’t entirely to blame, they’re facing intense pressure from outsiders and non-violent opponents that use propaganda to try to limit the IDF’s response as much as possible since they ultimately want Israel to fail and lose.
Hopefully this time we’re seeing a change where the rulers are starting to realize nobody has their back, esp. the US and it’s just time to neutralize all their foes systematically. That should be the goal-at the very least to eliminate all the terrorist groups that seek their destruction as well as their supporters/funders. Otherwise, their enemies could find a chink in their armor and then cause a lot of damage to the tiny state.

Absolutely spot on Fitna. Your first sentence says everything.

The dod austin guy announced the killing of some terrorists in somalia…much like what Israel did; but there doesn’t seem to be any threats from i. elmi or her cohorts against biden and austin and crew.
If mexico ever turns to islam to rule that country instead of the drug/human smuggling cartels, then there might be threats and rocket attacks on the U.S.
Which other nation is constantly under fire for fighting terrorism…with rockets fired on the general public from angry…enraged (always that way)…mozlums?
Jesus said, the end would bring “war and rumors of war.” He was certainly right.

Hamas are sore losers.
The Israelis remove some of their inbred terrorists from the equation and they do a dummy spit like the immature brats they are. PATHETIC.

I’d like to know what that hamas supporter from Pink Floyd has to say about this.
Come on Roger Waters we’d like your opinion on it.
