The Biden regime was supposed to have solved this problem by pressing Israel to make concessions to Lebanon. But the concessions have only aroused a thirst for more.
“Hizbullah Leader Nasrallah Resumes Threats to Israel over Offshore Gas Drill, Adds: Obama Acknowledged the U.S. Uses Disinformation to Topple Middle East Regimes; U.S. Earthquake Response Demonstrated Its Criminality and Barbarity,” MEMRI, February 16, 2023:
Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said in a February 16, 2023 address on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) that former U.S. President Barack Obama said that America no longer requires an army or a military war in order to take over and occupy other countries, and today all it needs is to sow discord. He explained that America can occupy countries by “corrupting” public opinion, planting rumors and conspiracy theories, and creating an atmosphere of accusations, “so that the people lose trust in their leaders.” Nasrallah criticized America for delaying the exemption of aid to Syria from the Caesar Act following the massive earthquake. Later in his speech, he said that Hizbullah will not allow Israel to continue to drill gas from the Karish field, “if there is procrastination regarding the drilling for oil and gas in the Lebanese waters…” He added: “If you want to starve us, we will kill you.”
Kesselman says
No concessions Israel makes toward its adversaries in the Middle East will satisfy. And the gas area in the Mediterranean may well be disputed, but not more than it’s with good reason Israel claims the spot.

I agree; nothing that Israel might do for the sake of peace will satisfy Hezbollah’s leadership As far as Israel exploiting a gas reserve in the Mediterranean Sea near Lebanon, which is apparently a disputed area as to ownership, Hezbollah has set itself up in Beirut, having taken Lebanon lock, stock and barrel, while Macron and the United Stats have turned a blind eye The latter take-over is an outrage to the Lebanese people, who, if they could rid themselves of the Hezbollah squatters, would gladly welcome Israel’s expertise in tapping this resource whereby both countries could benefit In the meantime, as long as Israel is tapping the resource, Hezbollah won’t be able to get their filthy paws on it too, having already drained Lebanon dry of Her scanty resources to suit Iran’s Ayatollah!

Is this the same Nasrallah who lives most of his sorry life inside an underground bunker,
somewhere in Libanon?
That Nasrallah?
This guy knows he is dead when he sticks
his head out of hiding.
Remember Arafat’s last years in his hideout?
What a joke.

Israel should abrogate that agreement w/ Lebanon and simply drill in the maritime territory it had claimed before. Any Lebanese equipment anywhere near their waters, just blow it up to kingdom come

Is anything stopping Lebanon from drilling in its own gas fields? No? I thought not.
Well get to it then. I suppose he thinks Israel should do Lebanon’s drilling for them.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
No, it’s a question of Lebanon horning in on Israeli maritime territory
Rarely says
Or is it a matter that Israel has and is developing its agreed upon area profitably and Lebanon hasn’t? Perhaps Lebanon lacks backers and/or has no idea how to proceed.
