    You know those books that take you by surprise because they end up being everything you never knew you needed? Yeah. Love 2 Hate U is totally one of those books for me! I was definitely excited for Seb and Kate's story after finishing Love 2 Jingle U (which I loved!), and it gave me all the gushy feelings.
     
    Kate seems like a no nonsense fuddy duddy, but she's only guarded because she's been deeply hurt in the past. It's so plain to see that she cares with her whole heart and I love that. On the other hand, it seems like Seb doesn't take anything seriously but he too is dealing with old wounds and his love for his sister is so endearing and lovely.  

    The banter and humor, the steam, the heart, THE STEAM...all of it was done so damn well in this enemies to coworkers to enemies with benefits to lovers to...Ha! No spoilers here! LOL. I can't say enough glowing things about the Sweet Vine Romance series that Alexandra Silva and Sophie Blue have created. 5+ stars for Love 2 Hate U with its emotions, fantastic characters and wonderful story!

    This enemies to lovers romcom has everything in it. This couple poke and prod each other in very annoying ways but it never turns hurtful. Seb (Sebastian) is one hero it is too easy to dislike from the start. He is immature, piggish, and is lack of care or consideration a complete turnoff. Until I warmed to him I was with Kate in understanding that he thought he was a lot funnier and entertaining than he was. The authors did a fantastic job of allowing me to understand why and how much Kate would dislike him. Kate on the other hand I found to be completely relatable and lovey. Perfect, no, but I got her in a way that any slight imperfections I breezed over as if they did not exist. Their chemistry is undeniable and the steam…hot! When they get together it is fun and it is fire!
    Without giving anything away I thought I had my head wrapped around the story and knew where it was going when another unexpected bomb gets dropped into the drama pool. Certain things ended up being a bigger deal than I thought while others less so. Characters didn’t act as I expected but still in a way that made total sense to their character and helped me find depth in them that I didn’t see at first.
    Eventually of course I come around to love Seb. I saw his own personal growth (which I actually think he was eager for) and I love that he brings out Kate’s light, fun, and naughty side. Plus, he becomes HER person…her ride or die in addition to her best friend Amelia who also happens to be his sister. We all want that in a partner, don’t we? Someone who puts us at the top of their list. It’s a bit of a trek to the HEA but so so well worth it! There is a fair amount about Parker in this book so I will be keeping an eye out for his book and Harrison too as I have deemed him my favorite.

    Love 2 Hate U is book two in the Sweet Vine Series. It's an enemies to lovers romance that can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading Love 2 Jingle U first to get acquainted with the characters and a little background. This story focuses on Sebastian and Kate.

    Seb was a joker, prankster, and could be immature, but he used that as a defense mechanism to keep people at arms length. He was intelligent, caring, hard working and ambitious. As infuriating as he could be, he had a big heart and would do anything for the people he cares about.

    Kate is reliable, down to earth, driven and motivated. But she's also lonely and doesn't trust easily. She's going through a rough period in her life so she uses her sass and career as her defense mechanism and as an excuse to be closed off, all business, and no fun.

    Their hate for each other was palpable and explosive but their love was just as combustable once they got past their issues. They had a lot in common. One of the most important people in their life is Amelia. They both were burned by people they care about in the past. Both are independent, hard working, and stubborn as all get out.

    Their journey, albeit a tad predictable, was more about the anticipation of their reactions to situations as they were so hot and cold with each it could go either way. Their relationship started out rocky, and that's putting it mildly, but their story ended being really sweet, had lots of humor, and was unique to them. I look forward to the next book in the series, I have a feeling it's going to be an emotional roller coaster.

    I loved book one, Love 2 Jingle U, so was excited to hear that another book was being released. Holy moly this opposites attract, well sort of, story is fabulous.

    Sebastian Harding and Katherine Clark really do have a love/hate relationship, they bicker nonstop and the pranks Seb pulls intensify as the story goes on. It’s not the only thing to intensify though. 😉

    I have to say straight off though, I thoroughly enjoyed Sebastian’s cheeky character. He does show he has a lot more depth to his character though, which is good. Katie is such a strong, sassy character and so easy to like too. Together they are great and their chemistry is like red hot roaring flames of fire.

    The sense of humour in this book is top notch and there are so many scenes where I literally laughed out loud because of the fun banter, sometimes very sarcastic or cynical but still extremely funny, or/and the hilarious things that the naughty Seb got up to! Yet, there are some serious elements woven in of course and I have to be honest certain ‘parents’, and I use the word loosely, made my blood boil and they weren’t really even featured much! Such is the emotive writing, that this wonderful partnership of authors, creates.

    I now hope this terrific writing duo will continue and write Parker and Harrison’s stories as well.

    Following LOVE 2 JINGLE U with Amelia and Adam. We now get to meet Sebastian (Ameila's brother) and Kate (Amelia's best friend)

    Fun loving Sebastian is a scream. He's the ultimate single lad about town. Handsome, funny, rich an all round ladies man. But he doesn't get too close after being burnt in the past.

    There is no-one he dislikes more than the boring, stick up her bottom, straight faced, sisters best- Kate. Infact his life mission is to p**s her off as much as possible!

    Kate, she's all business. After being dumped just before she was due to walk to down the aisle. She packed up and left Britain and threw herself into her Business, Sweet Vine an events planning company which she co- ownes with her partner Amelia. Leaving her past behind her, along with all thoughts of men and a life outside of work.

    There is no-one she dislikes more than the thoughtless, careless man child that is Sebastian.

    A turn in events sees the pair working together. Much to the dismay of both if them. There's a fine line between love and hate and their journey from hate to love is just Puuuuurrfect! The comedy in the book actually had me laughing out loud. Alexandra and Sophie really nailed this book. The ups and downs of the story line are well timed and well written. I was fully engaged and eager to keep reading. The romance is hot and I won't lie at times some what surprising!!

    If you're looking for a sweet, funny, and sexy read this Valentines season, I'd definitely give this a go! 5 fun filled hearts from me ❤❤❤❤❤

    From the beginning of this book I was laughing out loud. The dynamic between Kate and Sebastian was absolutely brilliant. There's clear chemistry from the beginning which is only enhanced by their work situation, making for a lot of hilarious scenes.

    What I loved though was that the turn the storyline ended up taking. Going into this book I did have an idea of what the basic storyline would be. But by half way through I realised that it wasn't going to be that at all. This kept me on my toes through everything that happened as every time I thought I had figured it out something else would happen or a characters reaction would be different from what I expected. The twists were very cleverly executed and had me on edge waiting for that moment of revelation.

    Although this can be read as a standalone book, it was nice to have a little insight in Adam and Amelia from Love 2 Jingle U. If you haven't read this don't worry as you don't need to know what happens to read this book.

    This really is a sweet, adorable story that does keep you on edge wanting to know more. It fun, sexy, hilarious and definitely something you should read if want something not too intense with plenty of laugh out loud moments.
