This would explain a great deal. And the EU is almost certainly not singular in this.
“100 MEPs may be involved in Qatargate corruption scandal engulfing EU parliament, says Polish MEP,” by Grzegorz Adamczyk, Remix, February 28, 2023:
More and more EU politicians are getting dragged into the Qatargate bribery investigation, said Dominik Tarczyński, an MEP from Poland’s ruling conservatives, while speaking with public Polish Radio 3.
“As many as a hundred MEPs could be involved,” said Tarczyński.
The corruption scandal, which shocked Europe and made headlines across the world, has seen a number of MEPs and former EU officials land in handcuffs after Belgian police raided offices and residences, where they reportedly found €1.5 million in bribe money stuffed in papers bags and suitcases.
According to Tarczyński, Poland’s Internal Security Agency, the ABW, played a key role at the beginning of the investigation and handed over information to Belgian investigators. He also revealed that new information on the scandal has been procured as a result of revelations regarding the arrest warrant issued against MEP Eva Kaili, the former vice-president of the European Parliament.
The Polish MEP said that new names are appearing all the time and that two more MEPs have now been arrested, according to a report from Radio Szczecin. Moreover, there is now “information that Kaili received more than €10 million in total, whereas back in December, it had been reported that this figure was between half a million and 1.5 million (euros),” said Tarczyński….
“The scandal will run and run, with more names emerging and new leads too,” said Tarczyński. Given that those who were allegedly bribed by Qatar helped influence a number of key votes related to Qatar, such as on the issue of allowing Qataris visa-free travel to Europe, the Polish MEP said he thinks there will now be moves to review and overturn some past resolutions of the European Parliament. There is concern that the Qatargate bribery case was only the tip of the iceberg and that many past votes and resolutions in Europe were influenced by foreign money and outright bribery.
The present corruption scandal emerged in December 2022, which involved accusations that countries such as Qatar and Morocco had bribed MEPs to ensure political and economic decisions taken by the European Parliament went their way. A former MEP, Pier Antonio Panzeri, a key figure emerging in the scandal, has admitted that he handed over €120,000 to Belgian MEP Marco Tarabelli. Panzeri is now cooperating with the investigators in return for a reduced sentence for his role in the crimes.
The scandal has hit the socialist grouping the hardest. Eva Kaili a Greek socialist MEP who was a vice-president of the European Parliament, has lost her post and been charged with corruption.

I knew they being bribed. Doesn’t take a genius.

More “elite captures”. Sad to see them fall victim to their own avarice. Especially Eva Kaili. She has obviously forgotten Greece was under a Muslim boot for 400 years.

I have a theory that Leftistts – no matter what their nationality – believe in a single world order, a romantic one where they can have breakfast in Athens, lunch at Delhi and dinner at Sydney. Just as within their countries, they want to level things into equal outcomes for all, they want to – and need to – do that on a macro level on the gllobal stage. Otherwise, just like within the US, we see people moving to Florida, Texas, Tennessee, South Dakota and other states, similarly you would see money flow into countries that have free market economies. Leftists can’t have that on a global scale, or their models will implode
The Leftist-muslim alliance hasn’t quite made sense to me. Yeah, they are both authoritarian/totalitarian, but they could not be more different in their goals. Just like Hitler had his pact w/ Stalin, but it was never gonna last. Similarly, China has its pact w/ the muslim world, and so does the EU and other socialist global organizations like the WEF, but they’re not likely to last either. The moment the funding from Qatar to them, or from China to dar ul Islam ceases, so will that ‘alliance’

I’ve been calling this out for years…so glad this is being uncovered. Ofc the whole migration invasion was a big Muslim scam also…they very likely ‘greased the wheels’ paying off pols to look the other way as jihadists invaded western nations, completely unvetted. This is still going on to this day.
Now that these freeloaders are here, they’ll be just as hard to catch/deport as mouse infestation in your house. Not that there is even a serious effort yet to find these people.
Ofc we’ll find all these Jamals, Habibs, Akbars, etc when they appear on rape/robbery and murder reports. Sadly thousands, perhaps millions of innocent people will have their lives ruined and destroyed.
The West is going to have its hands full with these trouble-makers for the next few decades or longer unless we get the right people in power who saw this happening and genuinely want to save their nation.
There is a price to pay for stupidity and people are going to learn the hard way, but so long as we stay in power and ban Islam and deport Muslims in the end, I’m fine with it, whatever it takes.
Skeptical says
Indeed this explains a lot. Also it makes me wonder how many leaders in the US government, corporations, and colleges are similarly compromised by Muslim money.

Just appalling.

True Graven, I’ll bet it’s the tip of the iceberg.
Money is powerful motivator, esp. for people who are in powerful positions but that might not pay very much as with most govt type jobs.

Sadly agree, Fitna.

Every thinking westerner that loves their country and culture needs to align with each other against the valueless (excepting money) establishment types that exist everywhere in the west. Their type lives for the moment with zero regard for consequences today or in the future. They are everywhere and so we must be everywhere in order to completely destroy them…everywhere.
Always remember, together, we out number them by far. They know it. That is why we see the drive to restrict speech. The drive to command the narrative through media. All of it is because they are afraid that the people will start talking with each other sharing ideas and perspectives. The creation of the Internet has turned out to be the greatest force for uncovering the truth that the world has ever seen. They can pipe what they want us to hear through the TV but they can’t do that with the Internet and that is why we see the Internet coming under attack.

Well said.

The original idea was good – having a free trade zone for all European countries. It went bad once the idea morphed into one of a single European government, which was the wrong direction: the move should have been towards more self-governance all over Europe, be it in Nottingham, Lyon, Porto, Lugano, Naples, Sparta, Preslav, Lviv, Homel, and so on. In fact, in such a scenario, there wouldn’t even have been Russian opposition to such a plan: they would have emulated it

I hope Europeans have the backbone to see that through and also force a return to the conditions that existed prior to this takeover of Europe. My guess is that a whole new round of suitcases and shopping bags of cash and jewels will find their way. At least the Irish are fighting the onslaught.
OLD GUY says
That bribe money isn’t just being handed out in Europe. My educated guess is there is plenty of it flooding into American political leaders campaign chest and pockets as well. To take it a step further the Muslim countries have poured millions into our colleges and Universities, purchasing the minds of our children.
gravenimage says
Grimly correct, OLD GUY–the US *and* the rest of the West.
Hoi Polloi says
Yes, that makes sense of the recent pronouncements out of Europeans that there will soon be laws overriding free speech protections in the US, for example. Already bought and paid for.

When things seem irrational like this massive illegal Muslim invasion – and nothing is done to stop or expel it – always expect corruption

I always thought it extremely odd that the politicians would be so willing to destroy their beautiful countries, ignore all the terrorist attacks as the ones in England, France, Belgium, Spain, and other countries, murders of innocent people, rapes of their female population, cover up the crimes and forbid to identify the ethnicity of the perpetrators…Now, my suspicions are explained. Follow the money. How much money did Merkel make in the deal to open the borders to Muslims from the ME and Africa?
