NIL operations software provider MOGL closes additional $2.6 million in seed financing

NIL marketplace and operations software MOGL raised an additional $2.6 million in seed funding for a total investment to date of $5.5 million. This new round was led by Magarac Venture Partners, a Pittsburgh-based VC firm that includes former Steelers co-captain Will Allen as partner, and will be used to continue scaling the platform and develop a mobile app for release later this year.

MOGL was founded by Notre Dame graduates Ayden Syal, an SBJ New Voices Under 30 honoree, and Brandon Wimbush, who set several school records as the Fighting Irish’s quarterback. Its software solution supports brands, athletes and universities and is currently in use by more than 10,000 student-athletes and more than 1,500 businesses, including blue-chip brands like NBC Sports, Toyota, Under Armour, and DoorDash.
