This is marvelous. What a wonderful sign of welcoming and inclusion! But look at the relative ages of the people in the photo, and consider also the supremacist and expansionist aspects of Islam. How long will it be before the German-language sign is taken down?
“Ellerstrasse and شارع إلَرْ,” translated from “Ellerstraße und شارع إلَرْ,” Grüne Düsseldorf, March 16, 2023 (thanks to Medforth):
There is already a Japanese addition on Immermannstrasse, and now Ellerstrasse in Oberbilk also has a bilingual street sign: شارع إلَرْ symbolizes the diversity of the quarter and strengthens the connection between the district and the community. Another sign of representation and cohesion.
“Bilingual street signs are also a symbolic expression of social inclusion. They show that people identify with their district and the diversity of their district. The more people identify with their district, the more social responsibility they can take on. That’s good for Oberbilk and good for Düsseldorf.”
“Many people, families and tradespeople with a Moroccan and Maghreb background have lived in Oberbilk for several generations.
A colorful and diverse district, through and through. The people who live there helped build our country.
In return, they deserve respect, respect and representation. I am pleased that the district council set an example with the two additional signs.”
(Samy Charchira, GREEN councilor for Oberbilk and integration policy spokesman for the council group)A bilingual street sign is not the only way to do this, but it is one of many. With this we express our appreciation and set a sign of togetherness.
In doing so, we are setting another of many signs in Düsseldorf to represent the diversity of our city and to strengthen the lively bond between the migrant communities and the districts of our city. In Düsseldorf we live TOGETHER, not ALONGSIDE each other. We always want to strengthen and express that.

The leftists want to give away their country. Putting up Arabic signs signifies an intention not to expect assimilation and to allow the expansion of the Muslim world into the West. It is an abdication, not a sign of diversity, inclusion and equity. Mark Steyn has said multiculturalism is a transitional phase between not Muslim and all Muslim. Not a good idea. It tells citizens, this area belongs to the Muslim world. In France, French women cover their heads when they go out in areas of cities dominated by Muslims. A capitulation of the French culture to a foreign invasion. Westerners who go into these districts may be told they have nothing to look for, and police only enter them if need be and in groups, not alone. This is the future of DEI. It means when in Rome do as the Muslims do.

If the Moroccans have been there for several generations and presumably been educated in Germany we can assume they speak German

the writer of this article is an idiot.
“cohesion” means ‘ “the action or fact of forming a united whole:’
mozlums have no plans to be “united” with anyone else. they don’t even unite between the different sects, much less with infidels, whom they intend to subjugate or murder.
And, it probably escaped the notice of the writer that the sign for the mozlums in the crowd is put on top.
There is a lot of symbolism in the world. Flags are put on masts in the order of importance, and this street sign being put above that of the German….means the same thing.

Agreed, they are telling the general populous who in the future will be in control of your country.
“We are importing Islamic extremism, Arab anti-Semitism, national and ethnic conflicts of other peoples, as well as a different understanding of society and law. German security agencies are unable to deal with these imported security problems, and the resulting reactions from the German population.” — Leaked German intelligence document.
More than a decade ago historian Bernard Lewis warned that if current migration trends continue, Europe will be Islamic by the end of the 21st century. Germany’s political elites are at the vanguard of making that prediction come true.

I had two aunts who were born and raised in Germany, living there under the rule of hitler.
According to them, many citizens objected to what their government was doing, but other than speak up and be arrested, there was little they could do.
I have often wondered when reading what is happening there, if things are pretty much like during hitler’s time, when people objected silently.
I can’t imagine the average citizen agreeing to this awful trend of bowing to islam.
And the U.S. is on the same path, just not as far along.

You’re probably right thanks to the Democrats and Dominion Voting machines.

So I guess that there is no expectation that the muslim invaders in Germany will learn to speak / read / write in German.

They forget this.if you give a muslim your hand,he will clain your arm,if you give him your arm,he will claim your body.if you give him your body ,he will claim your soul.never ending claiming and demanding business for muslims.

Instead of Arabic, why not Deutsche & Englische, which people from more countries will understand? Or even Mandarin, which is spoken by even more people, although fewer of them are likely to visit Düsseldorf

A lot of Americans visit Germany; many, maybe most, do not speak German. English would help them a lot to find their way to their hotels and to the banks, as well as the places they would like to visit, or where they would like to eat.

They should also put some Yiddish signs up to show their inclusion of the Jewish population, oh hang on a minute.

This is just as dumb ass as the U.S. incorporating Spanish as a second American language. National Sovereignty is dead! That’s what the WEF wants to happen. Our government “representatives” have been bought and paid off to sow globalism!

I wonder when they will remove the German street signs?
