During The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit in London, Elon Musk discusses Twitter’s role in politics as well as the coming presidential election.

Elon Musk said he would interview presumptive Republican presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday on Twitter, promising “a major announcement.”

DeSantis is expected to announce his 2024 presidential bid in the Wednesday evening Twitter chat with the Tesla TSLA 3.91%increase; green up pointing triangle chief executive, people familiar with the move said.
