Binyamin Horgen, the husband of terror victim Esther Horgen and a relative of terror victim Meir Tamari, spoke to Israel National News from the Knesset about the Palestinian Authority's incitement to terror and rewards to terrorists.
"I have paid the price of terrorism twice now, once with my dear wife Esther and then with my son-in-law, Meir Tamari, by terrorists who are still on the run. I am sure that Israeli security services will catch them and end their life on the spot, and that we will not have to suffer another court hearing with these guys," Horgan said.
"There are a lot of thoughts - not about moving to Samaria, the heart of Israel historically and today, but about how we in the state of Israel are not doing enough against terror. We are still supporting the PA, although they are still supporting acts of terror against Israelis wherever they are. We need to change the paradigm - it is inconceivable that Israelis cannot travel the roads, while the Palestinian Authority and citizens can travel freely, protected by the IDF.
"It is important that the victims of terror make their voice heard on some issues. The matter of checkpoints, for example - these are life-saving operations, which the operational forces tell me are stopped by political decisions.
"The second is the matter of compensation to terror victims; in other places, such as the United States and Europe, any organization supporting terror must automatically pay significant reparations to the victims. The only place where that doesn't happen is Israel - the Supreme Court has already ruled that the PA is responsible for terrorism, but in the same breath, said they were not financially responsible. We are hoping to change that law and that we will be allowed to sue the PA," he said.
