Enraged by Jews visiting Jerusalem’s Temple Mount on the Jewish fasting holiday of Tisha B’Av on Thursday, the Islamic and Palestinian terrorist groups are stepping up attacks against Israel.
On Friday, a Palestinian ploughed his car though two military checkpoints in Israel’s Judea and Samaria region, aiming at hitting soldiers. The attacker failed in his mission, and the Israeli military caught him after a brief chase.
“An attempted ramming attack was reported in Huwara in the northern West Bank on Friday afternoon after a driver rammed through two military checkpoints, the IDF said,” the Jerusalem Post reported Friday. “The Israeli military said its troops shot at the vehicle and chased the suspect down. He was arrested and will be interrogated by defense establishment officials,” the newspaper added.
The ramming attack came a day after Hamas terrorists fired a rocket towards Israeli communities in the nearby region. The rocket attack was reportedly in response to Jews on Thursday visiting the Judaism’s holiest site.
“Potential ramming attack in West Bank village of Huwara – report,” i24NEWS, July 28, 2023:
An attempted ramming terror attack near the West Bank village of Huwara was reported. A vehicle with Palestinian license plates sped towards Israeli security forces and fled when the soldiers fired warning shots.
“A short while ago, a suspect broke into two IDF checkpoints in the Einabus Square [near Huwara]. The soldiers who were at the scene responded with fire toward the vehicle,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson said in a statement.
“IDF soldiers began a pursuit after the suspect, apprehended him, and he was transferred to security forces for further questioning,” said the spokesperson, adding there were no Israelis injured.
On Monday, an Israeli civilian bus was shot by Palestinians in Huwara. There were no injuries from the incident, only damage to the vehicle.
Huwara has been a flashpoint for Palestinian terror attacks in the West Bank. Many Israeli drivers in the area, forced to pass through the village to reach other parts of the country, were killed or wounded.

I think that the Palis would claim that the Umayyads were the Pali state of which they claim to be the successor. Only problem: the capital of that state was Damascus, not Jerusalem. Also, why would that one state have a priority over other entities that either preceded or followed it?
jodie lindell says
yet the news gives untruth that IDForce are the perpetrators not muslim palestinians, as usual MSM lies or half lies. The college folk that support palestiians have no idea that israel belongs to the jews and israel has the right to defend itself from the violence muslims perpetrate
