  • Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Sweden for the first time over the weekend, meeting with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson at his country residence Harpsund.

  • Afterwards, Prime Minister Kristersson spoke about a SEK 6 billion aid package to Ukraine and plans to start production of the Swedish combat vehicle CV90 in Ukraine - but did not promise anything regarding the Saab JAS 39 Gripen Fighter plane.

  • "This was, in part, a courtesy visit," said Kjell Engelbrekt, professor of political sciences at the Swedish Defence University
