Tropes: 🎤 rock star romance 💌 second chance 🎤 enemies to lovers 💌 childhood bestfriends to lovers 🎤 it’s always been you 💌 brothers bestfriend
At the heart of the narrative is Kane Wilder, a character who is both intense and kind but also deeply troubled. His journey through life is one marked by hardship and unexpected fame. The transformation from a young boy who once caught fireflies with our protagonist, Hadley, to a celebrity tainted by the darker side of the industry is a poignant one. My heart ached for him as I witnessed the weight of his experiences.
Speaking of Hadley, she is a character to adore. Strong, sassy, and unafraid to stand up for herself, Hadley is a refreshing protagonist who adds depth and authenticity to the story. Her resilience in the face of adversity and her unwavering determination to protect her family make her a character worth rooting for.
The chemistry between Kane and Hadley is nothing short of sizzling. Greenwood skillfully crafts their connection, allowing it to evolve naturally as the story progresses. The emotions and tension between them are palpable, and you'll find yourself eagerly turning the pages to see how their relationship unfolds.
While "PS I'm Still Yours" is undeniably a young adult romance, it doesn't shy away from the drama that often accompanies this genre. Instead, it embraces it, using the trials and tribulations of youth to add depth to the characters and their love story. The result is a narrative that is both heartwarming and heart-wrenching in equal measure.
Eliah Greenwood possesses a remarkable talent for immersing readers in the minds and hearts of her characters. Throughout the book, I laughed with them, cried with them, and felt every twist and turn of their emotional journey. The storytelling is immersive and emotionally resonant, a testament to the author's skill.
In conclusion, if you're a fan of young adult romances and stories of superstar redemption, "PS I'm Still Yours" is a must-read. It's a beautiful, devastating second chance romance that will tear your heart apart and then skillfully help you put it back together again. Eliah Greenwood's storytelling prowess shines through in this novel, making it an unforgettable and emotionally charged reading experience.
I just want to thank Eliah for writing this book. A book I didn’t even know I needed to read until I spent hours lost in the pages, growing an emotional connection with these characters.
Most books I read are an escape from reality. Getting lost in a love story that was never mine, turning the pages to figure out the next plot twist in a thriller or simply escaping to a different universe entirely.
But this book? This book genuinely felt like I was listening to a real story my best friend was telling me through her experiences. The detail, the elaborate stories and intense emotions each character experienced was something I’ve never read before.
This book will live rent free in my head forever. I felt so many emotions reading this book. I felt sick to my stomach, heartbroken, happy, giddy, sad and sympathy for these characters.
I don’t even have a specific audience to recommend this book to because I simply think everyone should read it, I loved this book so much!
THERE IS A REASON I LOVE ELIAH GREENWOOD! This book was absolute amazing. P.S I'm Still Yours is a standalone, enemies-to-lovers, childhood friends, forced proximity, rockstar romance. This book follows Kane, a pop star, and Hadley who are in the same house for the summer after years apart. After tragedy struck the two get closer and closer as kids until one day Kane leaves. After being reconnected their hatred for each other is strong. The question is whether their hatred will lead to something else. I absolutely loved this book and ate it up! I highly recommend this book and the rest of the Easton High series because all of the books are so good!
Favorite Quote: “So, no, I can’t move on. I didn’t move on then, and you’re out of your fucking mind if you think I’m moving on now.”
Special thanks to Wildfire Marketing Solutions and the author for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I was really enjoying this until I got to the end. I don’t know how this got so many great reviews. The angst was great and I liked Hadley. I was invested in the side characters and their stories. I couldn’t put the book down for the most part. Until Kane’s secrets came out and he told Hadley what happened in the past. I just don’t see how it was forgivable for Hadley. His excuses for not coming clean were ridiculous. Spoiler: He was more worried about his mother being poor than his best friend’s death and the family he had known all his life????? COME ON. I just don’t see how you move past that. It’s gross. And Scar is no better. At that point he WAS an accessory and not a victim. I don’t care that he was 17. AND THEN he finds out about his manager and doesn’t IMMEDIATELY report that!? Disgusting. He knowingly knew about a group of people assaulting CHILDREN and let that information sit for MONTHS so he wouldn’t lose his career???? No redemption for the character. If the author wouldn’t have written that as the conflict of the story this would have been a 5 star read for me but after that I was just disgusted with Kane. Hadley taking him back was just crazy to me. And her mom was just ok with this!? Also, Evie was spoken of so highly and she came across as a terrible mother. I’m disappointed that this could have been such a great book if the author hadn’t gone this route.
This was a no brainer 5 stars from me! As a teen Kane has been attached to best friend Gray and his twin sister Hadley. As teens Hadley has been a friend to Kane in key moments that solidified their bond and thrust Kane into rock n roll stardom. Hadley has always crushed on the slightly older boy but is certain he sees her as his friend until her birthday as he kisses her and then leaves the very same day. As the years go by Hadley must deal with grief of losing Gray to a murder and Kane to Hollywood. As his career hits a hurdle he must lay low and return home just as Hadley is on summer break and moving out of the dorms. Fate has their paths cross yet again as they share a house for the summer with Kane's team and their mothers. There are plenty of secrets to go around and an attraction that can't be stopped even if it hurts everyone.
I enjoy these tropes, but I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved this combo! It's pretty clear Kane has always carried the memory of Hadley and seeing that unfold was such a delight. Hadley has genuinely tried to move on over the years but keeps realizing her head and her heart aren't on the same page. I loved the push and pull of will they finally give into that years worth of building chemistry. And when it did happen, I was not disappointed! The plot was fantastic, and I felt unique enough to stand apart from other rock star romances but had elements of things I do enjoy about that trope. This book was jam-packed with every emotion and ranged from the highest of highs to lowest of lows. I stayed up literally all night devouring this story and still kept thinking about it the next morning. This series is an absolute knock out and I can't wait to read what's next from Eliah!
What happens when the boy you love gives you your first kiss and then ghosts you until 5 years later?
Kane and Hadley have known each other their entire childhood. What was a friendship blossoms into romantic feelings that neither can show…because Kane is Hadley’s brother’s best friend. However one night changed everything…for the both of them. Years later Hadley is a college student who’s a little lost while Kane is a famous rock star who is in desperate need of a vacation and image revamp. One summer of hate, longing, past mistakes, jealousy and love brings these two characters back together for an epic story!
This book pulled every emotion from me! It was beautifully written, heart wrenching, full of love, great spice, and gave me all the feels! The plot twist was so shocking! Now I need to know what is going on with Scar and Drea!
Wow, just wow. This book had so much heartache, pain, and love with a few twists that dug the knife in even deeper.
Hadley Queen and Kane Wilder were childhood friends. He was also best friends with her twin brother, Grayson Queen, despite being a couple of years older. They would spend summers together at the Wilders’ beach house as their mothers were also best friends.
One summer, Hadley witnessed something she wasn’t supposed to see. From that moment, things went downhill for the Wilders, and Kane and his mother ended up temporarily moving in with the Queens.
Kane loved music, but he never shared it with the world; Hadley loved painting, and she never shared her creations either. But she was the one who encouraged Kane; she was the catalyst for his rise to fame.
She had always had a crush on him, and on her fourteenth birthday, he kissed her. Then he left and never looked back.
Five years later, after living a very different life because his career had taken off, Kane is back at the beach house, and so are Hadley and her mother. Kane’s a heartthrob, but he has a bad reputation. He’s back home to take a step back from all the cameras and fame and try to remember the guy he was before being in the spotlight.
Hadley was so strong. She had gone through something extremely devastating, but she still managed to go on with her life. Yes, it still hurt, but she didn’t let the pain destroy her. And when she had to come face to face with the guy who broke her heart five years ago, she refused to take his rude attitude and told him off.
Kane, oh man. He was an a**hole with drinking/drug problems. He had a rough childhood, and even his adult years were not easy, despite his fame. He was broken and damaged, and he never really handled his emotions well, especially when someone talked sh*t about those he cared about.
I loved seeing Hadley and Kane reconnect after all those years. There was so much love between them. Kane was so protective, possessive, and obsessive over Hadley, or as he called her, Hads. When I tell you obsessed, I mean OBSESSED. The promises he kept, the things he remembered, the way he always believed in her. It was so sweet.
But of course, there were the secrets. Look, I’m not a crier. I’m not! But I may or may not have teared up a bit. I was just so invested in this story, and hearing a certain scene from Kane’s POV, then the outcome of him recounting his story was so heartbreaking. There was even foreshadowing leading up to him spilling his story. And there were twists about why he’d kept that secret that I didn't see coming.
This book truly had so much heartache, heartbreak, growth, healing, and love. It was my first Eliah Greenwood book, but it will not be the last!

This was my first eliah book and I really enjoyed it! I liked the grit, angst, and longing in this book. Kane was a multidimensional, multifaceted character who was really interesting to get to know. I do wish we’d seen more of his pov and more of a definite change for him, but he was solid. Hadley I felt like we never really dug into her. She was sort of one note. The supporting cast for this boon were also great. I liked Jamie and looking back, more of Maggie could’ve ramped up the humour and tension a little bit more. I also would’ve liked more Drea and Scar. Still, this was a great, angsty, easy read. I enjoyed it and hope to read more from this author.
P.S I’m Still Yoursis the newest release from author Eliah Greenwood. This Brothers Best Friend, Second Chance, Rockstar Romance is a Standalone that follows the footsteps of Hadley ‘Hads’ Queen and Kane Wilder through their dual POVs.
Talk about a deeply angsty, super emotionally charged driven whirlwind rollercoaster. Eliah Greenwood kicked it into high gear when it came to the overwhelming emotional narrative that she delivered in the storytelling of Hadley and Kane.
Although the story was straight forward when it came to following the footsteps of Hadley and Kane through the telling of dual POVs. The set up of the plot might not have come across this way since it had been split into three parts, at least when it came to the timeline showcasing what was essentially three important years of age for Hadley and Kane. This not only allowed us to get a real sense of the two, simultaneously it had us seeing the changes in them too from the growth that was presented as the time forward ahead. Seeing not only where they were in life at those specific ages, but also what they were doing and going through. Whilst also getting an understanding of their relations, not only with their family and friends, but to each other as well. And that was all on top of learning the significance of it, as there were major events and situations that took place then, giving you an even more in-depth narrative. Something that would help to understand with filling in some missing gaps you may have had, particularly in the flashbacks that were included.
This jam packed story gave you so much to take in, not only from all the drama, suspense and mystery. But given the emotional angst it led to, it was no surprise you were riding the bumpy waves throughout when it came to Hadley and Kane. It was even more so from the plot twists that Eliah threw our way which was definitely shocking from being so unexpected. But that’s not to say it all was, considering there was some twists that were predicated from the subtle clues thrown in along the way, having figured parts of it out before all was exposed. However none the less, it didn’t stop me from being surprised to say the least when all was said and done.
When it came to Hadley and Kane’s relationship, they truly had their work cut out for them given all their baggage that they were holding onto. Which of course made it impossible for them not to have their ups and downs, pushing and pulling, constantly going back and forth with one another. And yet it didn’t stop them from having deep chemistry that shined through, giving off major sparks with each and every interaction. Proving that time and distance not only did not snuff out their feelings for one another, not matter how much either tried to deny it. But that the connection was always there. Something Eliah not only presented forth so clearly and loudly, as well as being thoroughly explored thanks to the dual perspectives. Which in part led to their inner monologue being on display, opening Hadley and Kane on a further and deeper scale. Not just within their relationship, but also as individuals too given the baggage they still carried.
Hadley and Kane’s storyP.S I’m Still Yourshit not only the marks in the trope delivery. Eliah Greenwood came through in delivering an overall deeply emotionally, angsty ridden, passionate and not just from the steam, but from the love too in this wonderful read.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
where do i start. first personally i felt that the story was drugged very much for almost 600 pages i mean come on only a few authors can achieve having the reader wanting to read more when it is this long and they have the perfect story so they use it but this didn’t deserve 590 i would say 300 to 400 would be perfect. also the MMC owes his whole career to the girl and he ghosts her like what? so they kissed while he knew that they wouldn’t see each other again he didn’t tell her that, he ghosts her and he makes her apologize that it was her fault he had to sleep with all those girls that looked like her because he couldn’t have her like what? also why did he ghost her? because he thought that she would be an obstacle to his career. WHAT??? also he uses very obsessive behavior and language like “she is mine” when talking about her a lot of times which i didn’t like the frequency of it. i might enjoy one or two over a book but not this often and much and the MMC that says it is dark and it is more towards a fantasy romance (if you know you know 😉). also the secret he kept was like so big that honestly i wouldn’t forgive him at all and so she seems but guess what at the final chapter she does. LIKE GIRLL THAT MAN WAS THERE WHEN YOUR TWIN BROTHER WAS MURDER KNEW WHO DID IT AND SAID AND DID NOTHING FOR 5 FRICKING YEARS!!! LIKE WHAT??? honestly i was so mad and confused and disgusted…. i just can’t…. i had great expectations for this book i am sad they didn’t turn out. i wouldn’t really read it again. i also might not be the target for this book but yeah… i just really felt that if you read the first 50-80 pages the last 2-3 chapters and and a few in the middle you will understand the whole plot and book because nothing happens honestly. is the first where we get the backstory and the last where we get the cliffhanger the other chapters are the same and nothing honestly happens in the others.

Eliah has been stealing and stomping on my heart since like 2017. But in a good way! Her stories never fail to evoke physical reactions. I’m talking total chills, tummy turning, heart racing, butterflies and giggles. But damn this one did a number on me. The tone was set from the get go. THE EMOTION between Hadley and Kane from the very beginning was so heart wrenching that every moment between them throughout the book was super charged. Ugh I couldn’t get enough. These characters were so complex. There were so many moments where I was so pleasantly surprised by their decisions and reactions to certain things. Sensational. Loved it.
I’m really sorry to say this, but this book was definitely not for me… ☹️
(Disclaimer: I am very much a mood reader and may not have been in the right mood for this LOL, but, regardless, I did not enjoy this book as much as I wanted to).
If you’ve read Eliah Greenwood’s books before, you know that she loves her angst — I’ve read and loved 3 of her books that had it in spades! But unfortunately, the brand of angst in this book was just not my cup of tea. There was more drama than I expected, and it was much messier than I would’ve liked. Namely, a good chunk of the book was filled with SO many hot-and-cold / push-and-pull moments that I was about ready to rip my hair out 😅
I did feel the chemistry and strong connection between Hadley & Kane, which had a lot of potential. However, I thought that the pacing was weird and the characters did not feel fully fleshed out at times?? Idk. I also acknowledge that these two went through a lot of pain in their life and still had strong emotions for one another. But there were many times where I found myself wishing Hadley had more of a backbone. And I personally did not find Kane worthy of redemption and many of his actions felt unforgivable in the end. The plot twist truly blindsided me and not in a good way…
Overall, I had a lot of issues with this book in a personal sense, but I think maybe someone who likes a lot of angst, drama, and spice in their books might enjoy it! I do like Eliah’s other work, so I hope to keep reading more from her in the future 🖤
Thank you so much to Eliah Greenwood & her team for an ARC of this book 💌
I couldn't put this book down! Kane and Hadley's story is one filled with loss, secrets, seemingly unrequited love, time and separation and so much longing! With references to time past the story knits together a pair of teenagers whose innate feelings for each other are a case of right place, wrong time and only time and that same place, can restart the process started when they were 13 and 15 years old. Hadley is a beautiful character. Her insight, courage and loyalty have an immense impact on Kane, one which will become woven into his very DNA. The tangled web which has his present day life in a turmoil, is one many years in the making, and the unexpected reunion of Kane and Hadley sees the start of something monumental. This has even a fabulous read. I am new to Eliah, but no longer a stranger! 💖💖💖💖💖
I was so excited for this book. But, however, I didn't really get what I wanted. And it isn't the book, I know a lot of you loved it, its just me, the book wasn't my style and made zero sense to me.
Thank you to Eliah and Wildfire Marketing for providing me with an ARC of P.S. I'm Still Yours. I absolutely loved it so much so that I have written my full review on my blog: writewatchwork.com.
But here's part of it:
Where do I start? P.S. I'm Still Yours is a standalone romance that follows the story of Kane Wilder and Hadley Queen. Kane is a completely new character in the Easton Boys universe, but we have seen Hadley before in the previous books. However, you don't need to have read them to understand the story of P.S. I'm Still Yours.
Hadley and Kane are childhood friends who have kind of grown up together because their mums are best friends. Every summer, Hadley, her brother Gray, and their mum, travel to Kane's beach house in Golden Cove.
One particular summer, whilst staying at the beach house, Hadley stumbles upon something she was never meant to see. This kickstarts Hadley and Kane's friendship as a few months later, both the Wilders and the Queens are forced to live together. From there, despite his best efforts, Kane and Hadley open up to each other and grow closer.
But then things happen.
P.S. I'm Still Yours has two different stages of the narrative, by which I mean there is a time jump in the novel. So, fast-forward several years and we get to the enemies-to-lovers part of the story.
Hadley and Kane are then very much not what they used to be and their lives have completely changed and they are different people. But they still have remnants of their younger selves and we see this push and pull between them.
Eliah takes us on a journey through the whole transformation of a relationship. In the beginning, we see the start of a friendship and two people building a bond between them, but we also see conflict that disrupts that relationship and forces Hadley and Kane to re-evaluate everything.
From the opening line of the prologue, you're immediately hooked as a reader. Eliah captures your attention with a single sentence because you're thrown into the middle of the action and then from Chapter One, the words "Before he left" create questions from the reader, making you want to read on.
What happens when the boy you love gives you your first kiss and then ghosts you until 5 years later?

I continue to bask in my Eliah Greenwood era, binging this author’s books like they’re my air to breathe. I can’t stop basking in P.S. I’m Still Yours. This heart-hitting rock star romance claimed every part of me as it stole my breath like a kiss: passionate, powerful, raw, and real.
Spanning from high school to adulthood, P.S. I’m Still Yours is the captivating tale of two broken soulmates who get lost but find each other again. These kindred spirits with beautiful hearts are fated together in a messy but meaningful way. Light and dark. Bold and brave. Fire and fate.
Kane is the ultimate hero: possessive, intense, all alpha and all rock star. Hadley os the soft to his hard, a beautiful light who helps shine light on Kane’s darkness. I felt their deep chemistry and connection through the pages.
A stunning romance from cover to cover, P.S. I’m Yours sank itself into my heart where I felt its emotional pull, a paralyzing zap that surged straight to my soul, owning every part of me. It was so easy to fall for every word, every character, and everything. I loved this love story so much, and need an encore now!
I’ve been waiting for another book from the Easton High world for a while and Eliah did not disappoint - I absolutely loved this book!
Tropes: 🌸 Childhood friends 🌸 Brother’s best friend 🌸 Enemies-to-lovers 🌸 It’s always been you 🌸 Rockstar romance 🌸 Forced proximity
Kane and Hadley grow up as childhood friends until one day he leaves unannounced… when fate steps in and forces them to share a house, the tension is palpable from the beginning. The chemistry between Kane and Hadley is hot🥵🔥 Golden Cove is where their story began and where their relationship ultimately evolves.
I cannot describe how emotional and heart breaking Kane’s story is. He’s been through so much, but never forgets his teenage love. On the other hand, Hadley has suffered just as much, but she is still a breath of fresh air and such a strong woman.
A very plot-driven story with a shocking twist, which made me want to hug these broken characters tight. They go through so much together and individually, but their hearts were always with each other’s. The secondary characters are great and I hope we find out more about Scar and Drea in the future!
My heart hurt so so much reading this.
I fell in love with Kane and Hadley. Eliah’s writing style is genuinely artistic and I cannot wait to read any future releases💖
Ok so I’ve read all the standalone books that are part of this series. They are all so good. Tropes for this one are: ✅ Rockstar Romance ✅Second Chance Romance ✅Brothers Best Friend ✅ Trauma ✅Dual POV ✅ parts are dual timeline
I absolutely loved Kane and Hadley story. The story has so much involved. Hadley has been in love with Kane since she was 13. He was her twin brother, Grey, he was his best friend. Her brother dies tragically as a teenager, and she never got the closure she needed with his tragic death. Kane is now a famous rockstar. They both end up at Kanes house for the summer along with their mothers . Kane has been in love with Hadley for years and all his hook ups are her fill in. Kane is fighting his own demons. Will he lose Hadley forever when those demons come back to haunt him? This book kept me engaged and was an emotional up and down experience. My heart hurt for both of them at different times. I loved this story.
ARC Review 4.5⭐️ Reading this book really made me feel like I was there experiencing everything along with the characters. 5 years ago Hadley and her brother Gray and his best friend Kane were just teens living. Until Kane disappears and leaves their lives for good. That is until tragedy strikes and brings Kane and Hadley back together. This book will have you rooting for the characters and also simultaneously screaming at them.

Well, Eliah did it again. THIS WAS AMAZING.I can't even begin to describe how obsessed I am with Eliah's writing style. She gets me every👏dang👏time.
Ever since reading Eliah Greenwood's other books last year, I have come to trust her at delivering very angsty, emotion-laden, yet sexy romance stories. It's also been a long time since I read a rockstar romance novel (which is something of a guilty pleasure), so everything about this book just satisfied me so well.
I loved the tension and the push and pull between Hadley and Kane. This was an addicting read! Their chemistry was off the charts and I was so rooting for both of them.
Kudos also to Eliah for discussing important topics in this book, such as addiction, depression, trauma, and abuse. All these were written into the story seamlessly, and became a great background for the characters' stories, hence it never felt like it was being forced down the readers' throats.

This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Available now on KU and Amazon. Thank you @eliahgreenwood for the ARC
I had been anticipating this one for so long and absolutely loved it.
(Spoiler FREE)
This had the perfect (for me) ratio of past and present timeline. I gravitate towards the present timeline generally. We get this tumultuous reunion between Hadley and Kane, with bits of the past here and there, giving the scope of the dynamic between the two of them. This story ripped me up. The pain between them runs deep, but when circumstances bring the two of them living under the same roof after all these years, the atmosphere is pure fire.
She hasn't seen Kane in years, her first kiss... her first love in years and Hadley isn't ready, but being back in the same town, in the same house makes that pretty much impossible. He just left her... The story between the two of them is so, so good. Every tense moment was pure fire.
Neither of them are the same person they were back then, and there is a lot of heartbreak and betrayal in their history, but it was perfection. With a cast of fantastic side characters and superb heat, P.S. I'm Still Yours was a five star for me.

I knew very early into this book that it was going to be a raving 5 star review from me! Eliah’s writing is very easy to read, and her stories make for the perfect fuzzy blanket on the couch & feet kicked up - cozy reads! Of course, this story is no different. 🤍
P.S. I’m Still Yours features Hadley, who we’ve met previously within the Easton High series! This book shines a light on Hadley, and what she goes through after the tragedy that is losing her twin brother. We watch Hadley navigating her life long love for her brother’s bestfriend, Kane Wilder.
When Kane Wilder gives Hadley Queen her first kiss, she never imagined the next time she’d see him it would be on a billboard.
The journey of one summer stuck under the same roof, from resentment to lust, this book gives us it all! This spicy standalone has the angsty enemies to lovers I was hoping for, as well as all of the feel good moments.
Getting to know Hadley through this syory was a breath of fresh air! She is a very relatable young woman, simply trying to figure out which direction to take her life, while the one boy she swore off threatens to turn it all upside down. The secrets being kept behind the scenes would be enough to spin anyone’s world on its top!
Overall I loved this book so much! BY the end I was BEGGING for more Hadley & Kane, and while I’m sad we won’t get more, it takes some damn good writing to make someone feel that way! 🤍
Thank you so much to Eliah & Wildfire Marketing for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this book! I highly recommend this one, and cannot wait to see what Eliah gives us next! 🤍
This is a continuation in the Easton High universe however can be read as a standalone.
