KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 17

The Government of Nepal has successfully rescued 18 more Nepalis from Israel.

They were evacuated on an Indian aircraft due to the ongoing militant attacks by the terrorist group Hamas in Israel, as confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

Previously, 253 Nepali students were repatriated from Israel via Nepal Airlines. Minister for Foreign Affairs, NP Saud, stated that the Nepali nationals are returning today from Tel Aviv, Israel, on an Indian rescue flight.

MoFA announced that these 18 Nepalese citizens will depart from Tel Aviv at 9:00 am local time aboard a Spice Jet aircraft.

Minister Saud also informed that the Nepali Embassy in Delhi has made arrangements for transportation to bring these rescued Nepalis back to Nepal from India.

Upon their arrival in India, the rescued Nepalis will enter Kailali district via the Gauriphanta checkpoint. The Ministry stated that the Kailali district administration office is preparing to facilitate their return to their respective home locations."
