Jimmy just hit 200 million subscribers on his YouTube channel 🎉 It’s crazy to think that his first 100M took nearly a decade, and his 200M milestone came only a year and a half later. Here are some of the big reasons Jimmy hit 200M so quickly: 1️⃣ Fully dubbed his content in more than 15 languages for international viewers. 2️⃣ Made videos that appealed to a broad global audiences: "$1 vs $1M Hotel," "Every Country on Earth Fights For $250K." 3️⃣ Over the back half of this year, he’s been way more consistent with content, uploading a lot more videos. 4️⃣ He put a focus on other platforms outside of YouTube: his TikTok and Instagram have grown considerably. 5️⃣ Started to incorporate well-known celebrities into videos who appeal to all ages: Tom Brady, The Rock, Jay Leno, Cody Ko, and Miranda Cosgrove. Excited to see the channel grow in the next year. #creatoreconomy #youtube #mrbeast #congratulations
It took MrBeast 4,254 days to hit 200,000,000 subscribers. It took T-Series 4,678 days to hit 251,000,000 subscribers. MrBeast currently gains over 900,000 subs per day and Tseries is gaining over 66,000 subs per day. Within the next 65 days Jimmy will become the most subscribed to Youtuber in the world.
The foundation for this hop, skip and jump is key. It's a little like "it takes money to make money." 1, 2 and 5 aren't things just any content creator can do. The man has set himself up, along with his team (*hat tip to you, sir*), to fuel exponential growth like this because he is an AAA+ name at this point.
Reed Duchscher Mindblow! 🤯 Sooo so crazy, so many lessons here to be taught! Thank you so much for sharing this. So valuable 🙂
Here for point 1! With the use of dubs and multiple audio tracks the views & subs just reached a whole new level. We have covered this in our recent post: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/dubdub-ai_how-mr-beast-got-2-billion-views-in-a-month-activity-7119660030806622209-1Bg8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android
Growth hacking 🙃❤️
Looking forward to seeing where he goes from here. His focus is YouTube, but I keep wondering if that is sustainable / whether or not he has ambition for higher quality content. E.g. his Squid Game video has 500M views and will continue growing, but I have near-zero interest in rewatching it even though it's only 25 minutes long. But the real Squid Game is 8 hours long, and I want to rewatch it. His content gets views and that works financially, but it's all flash-in-the-pan stuff. I am curious to see where what he is doing in 10 years.
Any insights into the end game here?
Focusing on global expansion and understanding universal audience insights is key to success. Can't wait to see what's next for the channel!
At this point, he’s literally Mr. YouTube. What surprised me was he came to Flagrant Podcast. Saw their statistics. And predicted they use cuss words in their videos. 🤯
