The Department of Foreign Employment has decided not to grant work permits to Nepali nationals for war-torn Russia and Ukraine.
The department's director, Kabiraj Uprety, informed RSS that the issuance of both individual and institutional work permits for Nepali nationals in these countries has been suspended.
"Work permits for Russia and Ukraine have been temporarily halted until further arrangements are made to minimize potential risks and losses for Nepali nationals entering these war-ravaged countries," he stated.
