This first look into the survival story of Kaylia and Brokk is fast paced, page turning adventure, with a well timed romance. Just when you think that you have seen it all the Doomed Valley throws another curve ball! Can't wait for the next one!

Wow! This book kept me on the edge of my seat thru the entire book. I was drawn in on page 1. Had it read in lass within 2 days. I was kept on an emotional roller coaster with lots of suspense. Love, love, love the book and cannot wait for the next one!!

Completely gripped from page one, I was deeply immersed in this adventure! The world building is so detailed that you feel like you’re on this journey along with the main characters. I had been hoping Brokk would get his story and Davies did not disappoint! I love a good enemies to lovers and I absolutely cannot wait for when Brokk tears down Kaylia’s walls! Their chemistry is going to be off the charts. The tension between them is highly combustible and will definitely result in a big bang!
