Belgium’s Development Minister claims that Israel is engaged in “colonization and ethnic cleansing.” More on this can be found here: “German government is backing Israel’s ‘shameless colonization policy’ and ‘ethnic cleansing,’ claims Belgian socialist minister,” by Denes Albert, Remix News, January 15, 2024:
Kotthaus, however, wrote that Israeli settlement construction in the West Bank, on the other hand, was illegal. He argues that it jeopardizes the two-state solution, which is necessary for long-lasting security and peace for Israelis and Palestinians.
Martin Kotthaus, the Germany ambassador to Belgium, is wrong in calling Israeli settlement construction “illegal.” Israel has a perfect right to build settlements in Judea and Samaria (a/k/a the West Bank). That right originates in 3000 years of Jewish history, whose center was located not in the Negev nor the Galilee, but rather in Judea and Samaria. That recognition of the right of Jews to reconstitute their ancient homeland was set out in the League of Nations’ Mandate for Palestine in 1922. According to that Mandate, Article 6, the Mandatary, Great Britain, was obligated to “facilitate Jewish immigration” and to “encourage close settlement by Jews on the land.” What land? The land that the Mandate maps included as being part of the future Jewish state — all the land “from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.” Though the League of Nations was formally disbanded in 1946, its successor organization, the United Nations, was obligated by Article 80 of the UN Charter to continue to carry out the terms of any League of Nations Mandates that had not yet been achieved. In other words, the UN was committed to fulfill the terms of the Mandate for Palestine.
Kotthaus also claims that Israel’s settlements are an obstacle to the “two-state solution.” This phrase is repeated ad nauseam in foreign chanceries all over the world, and of course at the UN, as if calling something a “solution” is enough to make it so. Everyone has agreed to pretend to believe in something they describe as a “two-state solution,” but no one has convincingly explained exactly what that “solution” could possibly be.
And now that 87% of Palestinians have declared in the latest opinion poll their support for Hamas’ attacks — atrocities — on October 7, it’s impossible to imagine that Israel would ever allow full-blown Palestinian state, run by Hamas, to be created in Gaza and the West Bank. Eventually, the world will have to recognize that there is no “solution” to the jihad conducted by Muslim Arabs against the Jewish state. There can be, instead, the establishment of a modus vivendi between Jews and Arabs west of the Jordan River, with something less than a state offered to the Palestinians, but that can only be achieved if Israel is perceived as overwhelmingly more powerful than those who would destroy it. This is simply the strategy of deterrence that worked so well during the Cold War to hold the Soviet Union in check.
Ambassador Kotthaus should, instead of repeating the standard, and false claim, that Israeli settlements are “illegal,” have burned the midnight oil and studied the Mandate for Palestine’s provisions, especially Article 6. And he might also have read both UN Security Council Resolution 242, passed on Nov. 22, 1967, and the indispensable gloss on that resolution by its main author, British Ambassador to the U.N. Lord Caradon. UNSC Resolution 242 recognized Israel’s right to hold onto any territory it won in the Six-Day War that it deemed necessary for the Jewish state to have “secure (i.e. defensible) and recognized boundaries.” It most definitely did not contemplate Israel being forced to be squeezed back within the “pre-1967 lines” — that is, the armistice lines of 1949, that would have left Israel with a nine-mile-wide waist from Qalqilya to the sea. As Lord Caradon said: “I know that [armistice] line, it was a rotten line.”
Kotthaus further stated that Germany has a special responsibility for Israel’s security due to the Holocaust….
Of course, given the terrible and inassuagable history of Nazi crimes against the Jewish people —the murder of six million Jews — it is understandable that Germany recognizes its “special responsibility for Israel’s security.” As part of their penance for the Holocaust, intelligent Germans have recognized that they must help ensure that the Jewish state, and its people, never face the possibility of another Holocaust at the hands of a different enemy — the implacable jihadists who want the Jewish state to disappear. Belgian Minister of Development Caroline Gennez apparently thinks this German view — that the security of Israel must be one of the pillars of German foreign policy — is not laudable, but deplorable. For it puts Germany in the position of protecting Israel, as it pursues, in her words, “a shameless colonizing policy” and “ethnic cleansing.”

Rubbish! Hitler’s policies had no need of support from militarily inconsequential countries and such nations would have been swiftly dealt with had they raised any objections.

Like we’re suppose to give credence to a Socialist scum bag from Belgium, calling eradication of terrorists,’ – butchering, burning of babies, cutting heads, legs and arms off of Israeli’s, ethnic cleansing?
I’m angry and sick of Socialists, Communists, Marxists, Islamists sticking up for each other, all to dominate the world. Where aren’t Muslims migrating to, is the world being inundated with Muslim men? Muhammad said “all Muslims must migrate”, what will be his next command?
Biden funds terrorism, he gets closer to Islam on a daily basis, Muslims work in his administration, the FBI, CIA, DOJ, is it any wonder, they’re all corrupt? They all need to be deported, save America, deport!

The EU leaders are based in Belgium .Most European countries are smaller then many America states. Belgium has great influence on other countries in western Europe because of its history, location and the EU base running Europe at this time the EU being unelected, elite, petty ,woke dictators in my humble opinion. The freedom of speech ,is not the same in western Europe as America, neither is freedom to assemble .The democrats in America would like Americans to follow an EU model of governing where unelected people would call the shots on many thing that the congress and senate do now .The EU is trying to appease the savage new jihadist refugees by blaming Israel for defending itself from the savages “Hamas” the elected rulers of the Gaza.. The “other” elected leaders representing the “Belgium” people will tot the line of the EU.

In Belgium today there is a legal political party running for Premiership called The Islam Party and they openly state their main Platform is to turn Belgium into an islamic Nation and that sharia will be the Law of the Land for everybody.
Remember that the HQ for the EU is in Brussels the actual Capital of Belgium and this islamic party is close by also in Brussels.
Once Belgium goes, so goes the EU and all of Europe.
Belgium people I have mentioned this FACT too have told me this is just fine as they believe in diversity.
Like the islamic prayer room at the highest peak in all of Germany where a sign outside the mini mosque states… ” Toilet for use by muslims only”…Apartheid in Germany against Germans and some Germans are unaware of this and those whom I have informed tell me this is okay as we believe in diversity…Sheep, all of them.
