What are these things that will be “very unpopular in this country and in our Congress”?
An excerpt from the extended piece on the Biden administration’s outreach to Hamas supporters in Michigan who refuse to vote for him unless he pressures Israel to stop bombing Hamas.
Biden dispatched Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer to meet with top Hamas supporters, including Osama Siblani, who had formerly said, “Mr. Bush believes Hezbollah, Hamas and other Palestinian factions are terrorists, but we believe they are freedom fighters.”
Finer cravenly apologized for Biden’s support for Israel.
Mr. Finer also said the Biden administration should have been faster to publicly condemn statements made by some Israeli officials that, in his words, compared “residents of Gaza to animals.” He said officials had not done so because they were trying to work with the Israeli government.
He did not clarify which Israeli officials he was referring to, but in the conflict’s early days, Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, said, “We are fighting human animals, and we are acting accordingly.” Some other Israeli officials have also faced criticism for dehumanizing language.
Gallant was clearly referring to Hamas. But then there was this bizarre comment by Finer.
“We will have to do things for Saudi Arabia that will be very unpopular in this country and in our Congress,” Mr. Finer said. “Will Israel be willing to do the hard thing that’s going to be required of them, which is meaningful steps for the Palestinians on the question of two states? I don’t know if the answer to that is yes. I do not have any confidence in this current government of Israel.”
Why do we have to do things for Saudi Arabia?
What are these things that will be “very unpopular in this country and in our Congress”?
Why is the president of the United States doing things for the Saudis that will be “very unpopular in this country”?
I presume from the context that it may refer to unilateral recognition of the PLO terror state by the Biden administration, but that’s just guesswork.
It’s an ominous and troubling remark, especially considering the long history of the Saudis calling the shots even when their people were killing thousands of Americans.

If we had a pro-Israel government, Saudi Arabia would instantly fall in line. At least MbS would. I read recently that the ban on non-muslims entering Medina has been lifted, although the ban on Mecca remains. That, along w/ David Wood’s hypothesis that MbS is a closet ex-muslim makes me think otherwise

Or you, meaning the Biden Government, could follow a pro-Israel policy all the way which would be popular with Americans but perhaps not the pro-Hamas terrorists which belong to those “Americans” whose votes he wants. If chasing votes is that important even Biden people should know that you cannot be both anti-terrorist and pro-terrorist at the same time for different voters. The pro-Israel Americans are the vast majority of Americans while the pro-Hamas are a tiny minority just like the politics of members of the ‘Squad” are in comparison to that of the majority of Congressional members.

what has he done, have any of them done, that meets the approval of Americans?
what has the present cabal of pretenders done which has been “popular” with those over whom they pretend?
biden’s so-called “approval rating” has been low (I think it is minus, but the media refuse to say so), because of all he has done to sink the nation.

You got a mouse in your pocket? I am not doing a damn thing for any soddy barbarian except maybe give them a lead enema should it be necessary.

He’s not wrong. I include Western pro-fakestinians in that description. They have dehumanized themselves through their beliefs, words and actions.

The two state solution has ALWAYS been rejected by the Fakestinians if the Jews still held Israel. Clinton, Bush, and even Mubro O’Bama did not make that work. It is ignorant fantasy to think Biteme and fellow travellers will make it work.

No, OBiden doesn’t have the “brain fitness” to work on any two-state solution. But every president before him, all the way back to Pres. Carter have tried and failed to make peace between these two.
The final day of when Trump had to leave office, I believe I was shown how and when, the leader of Palestine, and the leader of Israel will sit down together, to sign a peace treaty/agreement.
And so, this treaty/agreement was/is already drawn up, but it had to be put aside, to come back to, at a later time. It wasn’t complete when Trump left office. BUT I knew, there were too many signs, that showed that Trump HAS TO COME BACK AND FINISH IT!
There cannot be any other treaty/agreement, nor can anyone else finish what Trump started. And so, when the time comes, he’s not only the author of the “peace” document, but also will have the honors of lighting the torch (in other words), and the passing it over to a group, that will be the ones that will easy and simple, make a miracle happen, which is getting the Palestinian leader to sign, after all these years of Presidents trying. How did they do it? Stay tuned!
I don’t believe there will be another plan, treaty or agreement, for a two-state solution, for one reason, God said many times in our bibles, about his anger toward the ones who divide up His land.
And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land,….Joel 3:1-2
and two, because one day, the next treaty/agreement you’ll hear of, will be for 7 years (this amount of time, was entered in, and it’s just the amount of time, that the Palestinian leader has to keep peace with Israel. (Ask me, why, after every president since Carter tried, and failed, to make these two leaders, make peace with each other.
when the Palestinian leader has ALWAYS said NO to peace with Israel for MANY YEARS. And he’ll say NO again to this one, but he’s got a BIG surprise coming, in which there will be an absolute “YES”, to signing it (coming soon!).
But once these two leaders finish signing that 7 year peace plan between themselves, the 7 year Tribulation begins! Sadly, at that time, I’ll be shocked, that the Israeli leader didn’t know about bible prophecy, or what will happen, once he puts his signature on that “peace deal”.
I left out a lot of more specific details (like the signs that couldn’t be missed) to this “coming soon” story, but I can fill it in, on request.
