As is well known, Arabs and Muslims in this country are fed up with Joe Biden. They think he’s too pro-Israel, a charge that many of us find comical given how he and Blinken have recently been treating the Jewish state, and they are determined to express their discontent by voting “uncommitted” in the presidential election this November. They turned out in droves in the recent Michigan primary, where tens of thousands cast their vote for “uncommitted.” Now Rashida Tlaib (D-Khan Yunis), the sour-faced Palestinian-American who, like her soulmate Ilhan Omar, who proudly represents Somali interests in Congress, has chosen to represent “Palestine” in the same body. She has just committed herself to remaining “uncommitted” on the presidential race as “of now.” More on the unpleasant-in-all-respects Ms. Tlaib can be found here: “Uncommitted: Rashida Tlaib Refuses to Say Whether She Will Support Biden in November,” by Jack Elbaum, Algemeiner, March 1, 2024:
Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) refused to say earlier this week if she planned to vote for her party’s incumbent, President Joe “Biden, in the 2024 election….
During this week’s Michigan primary, she supported the campaign to vote “uncommitted” rather than for Biden, in protest of his pro-Israel stance since Hamas’s October 7 terrorist attack.
While she would not answer what she plans to do in November, when asked about others who voted “uncommitted,” she told them, “Don’t stay home,” adding, “One thing that I know about staying home is you’re making us more invisible. I want you to exercise your right to vote, I really mean this. But also think of the whole ballot.”
She urged people to “not always think about that top of that ticket.”…
Tlaib was clear that she wanted to avoid a second Trump term, saying “I am incredibly, incredibly scared of a second Trump term, and I think it’s really important to emphasize this.” She continued: “Right now, our democracy is at stake. Many of us are saying change course because you’re threatening our democracy.”
During the press conference, Tlaib emphasized that she was not pushing for a temporary ceasefire with Hamas but rather a permanent one.
“A temporary ceasefire isn’t enough,” she said….
Of course, since Tlaib’s goal is to protect Hamas from compete dismantlement by the IDF, she knows that only a permanent ceasefire will do. For that will bring to an end to the Gaza War, with many Hamas operatives still standing, albeit with their numbers reduced to half of what they were on October 6. Such a result will be seen by the world as a defeat for Israel and a victory for Hamas.
Careful with the words here: a “permanent ceasefire” is not a “solution.” It’s a possible course of action, and for Israel, a most damaging one, with the Jewish state being pressured to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
In recent months, Tlaib has strongly spoken out against Biden’s Israel policy. In November, she said “Joe Biden supported the genocide of the Palestinian people.”…
“Genocide”? There is no “genocide” of those we have been taught to call the “Palestinian people.” The only genocidal acts that have taken place in Israel or “Palestine” are the unspeakable atrocities carried out on Jewish men, women, and children by the Hamas rapists and murderers on October 7. The IDF makes enormous efforts to save civilian lives, most notably by warning civilians in advance of areas (such as “northern Gaza”) or buildings — schools, mosques, apartment houses — about to be targeted by the IDF. It does this by leafletting, messaging, and telephoning. Of course, it’s not just civilians who are being warned, but unavoidably, also Hamas combatants. No other army in the world, in order to minimize civilian deaths, warns its enemies of where it is about to attack. That is why the Commander of the British forces in Afghanistan, Colonel Richard Kemp, has described the IDF as “the most moral army in the history of warfare.”
As for accusations of “genocide” by Israel in the past, you need only know that when Israel took over Gaza in 1967, there were 400,000 Arabs in the Strip, and when Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005, the Arab population of Gaza had increased to 1.3 million, a more than threefold increase. It was the same story in Judea and Samaria (a/k/a the West Bank, as of 1950, when the Jordanians renamed it), which in 1967, when Israel took over, had an Arab population of 900,000. Today that Arab population has increased to m three million, a more than threefold increase. Finally, the Arabs in Israel after the 1948 war numbered 150,000, and today that number has increased to two million, that is, a roughly fourteen-fold increase. Which leads us inexorably to the obvious question: Genocide? What genocide?
Rashida Tlaib is unhappy with Joe Biden. If she, and other Arabs and Muslims, remain determined to punish him by remaining “uncommitted” on Election Day, there are two possible outcomes. One is that Biden wins in Michigan — the only state where a Muslim voting bloc can conceivably decide an election — without their support. This will demonstrate their political insignificance, which will be taken note of by many in Washington and in state houses around the country.. The lesson will be clear: despite all the huffing and puffing by CAIR and members of The Squad about the supposed political strength of Muslims, they are still bit players in American politics. They are, after all, only 1.1% of the population.
Another possibility is that the Muslim vote in Michigan does indeed prove decisive, by their voting “uncommitted,” to Biden losing Michigan and, as a result, the 2024 election. What happens then to Muslim political power? They will have earned the rage of Democrats, and of all those who regard another Trump presidency with horror. How dare they help elect Trump just to punish Biden for not doing enough to prevent Israel from totally defeating the terror group Hamas?
Decisions, Rashida. Big decisions.

2 Thessalonians 2
New International Version
The Man of Lawlessness
2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Stand Firm
13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[b] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings[c] we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.
16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

“our democracy”….what a joke. Not funny, but nothing is further from the Truth of what this hideous snake wants. The evil creature wants islam to rule over us all, just as it rules over those mozlums in Gaza, and as hamas wants it to rule in all of Israel. The ugly viper wants Israel to lose its battel for survival and she threatens biden for that purpose. Her goal is the evil of islam in control.
Just as it rules over Iranians, pakistanis, afghans, and so many others who lust to make it rule over the entire earth.
Big time liar, r tlaib.

In the primary, “Uncommitted” worked, since neither Marianne Williamson (who re-entered the race after the Michigan results) nor Dean Phillips posed any challenge to him. In the general, the intifada voters can vote for Cornel West, assuming he manages to make it on the ballot. I’d think Jill Stein might have been good as well, although they may hold her being Jewish against her, even though she really is probably a communist Atheist. Anyway, they’ll have their favorite candidates in November
Hope that intifada voters in Minnesota and Michigan vote for West this November, so that both those states can end up in Trump’s column

For me, I wish those uncommitted for this reason to find another country where they can institute sharia and anything else they feel compelled to do. I believe there are several ‘openings’ in the Middle East – outside of the country they hate of course.

You guys are exactly right she is not for America. She is against America and American values. Maybe she should be sent to Gaza

According to the feature article:
“Rashida Tlaib, Still ‘Uncommitted’”
Then let’s get her “committed”…

I had that thought too, James. How about in a hospital in Gaza with her granny?

I like that idea, somehistory!

She definitely needs to be removed from office.
She represents a foreign country not the American people.
