In Jordan, about 20% of the population — the “real Jordanians” — consists of those descended from Arabs who have always lived within its borders. 60% of the population — the “Palestinians” — are descendants of those who left Mandatory Palestine/Israel between late 1947 and the early 1950s. The remaining 20% consist of Bedouins, who furnish the King with his shock troops. Unlike all the other Arab states, Jordan has allowed its “Palestinian refugees” to acquire Jordanian citizenship, to freely practice the professions, and to live outside the UNRWA-run camps that Palestinians in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq are forced to inhabit. Now the war in Gaza has spilled into Jordan, with Palestinian rioters running amok, attacking the security forces because they want the Jordanian army to intervene on the side of Hamas in the Gaza war.
More on these clashes that threaten the stability of the state can be found here: “Pro-Hamas riots erupt in Jordan causing inner divisions to resurface,” by Ohad Merlin, Jerusalem Post, March
Violent clashes between Jordanian forces and protesters erupted in the past couple of days, including instances of stone-throwing and arson aimed at the country’s security forces.
These confrontations are taking place against the backdrop of the nation’s large anti-Israel protests, many of which included openly pro-Hamas chants.
One of the main promoters and leaders of these demonstrations is the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan, a group aligned with Hamas for their shared ideological origins. It is active on both the social and the political level through its party, the Islamic Action Front (IAF).
Following the clashes, several activists of the Muslim Brotherhood were arrested, including two prominent members of the IAF’s youth sector, Moataz Al-Harout and Hamza Al-Shaghnoubi.
In a rare statement that implies criticism of the country’s leadership, the Secretary General of the Muslim Brotherhood’s party, Murad Adaileh, denounced the arrests, deeming them “outdated” and adding that they would be “of no use in stopping the Jordanian youth movement which supports the Palestinian people’s jihad and heroic resistance, and rejects Zionist crimes and the state of Arab incompetence.”
One viral picture showed posters carried during a demonstration addressed to the Jordanian army, calling it to heed the calls of children and women in Gaza to take vengeance on their enemies and free the land, adding the hashtag: “Where’s the army of Al-Karamah?”
This is a word meaning both ‘dignity’ and the name of a 1968 battle in which the Jordanian army forced the IDF to retreat from a retaliatory operation on Jordanian soil….
A user named Heba uploaded a video of protesters attacking and throwing stones at Jordanian security forces, adding, “this is no popular stance or anything else.. [but] a group of thugs and terrorists who took to the street to take out their hatred on Jordan and the security forces, and we can only say, may Allah break their hands.”
Another user named Dana posted an AI-generated picture showing demonstrators with Palestinian flags burning the streets alongside the inscription “Don’t burn my homeland for your Palestinian issue,” adding: “If liberating Gaza from the Zionists is a sacred duty, then liberating Jordan from the Palestinians is a national duty…”
The Jordanians are enraged at the ingratitude of the “Palestinians” whom they allowed to settle in their country, and to whom they granted full citizenship. Now some Jordanians are ominously warning that they may expel them—that is what “liberating Jordan from the Palestinians”means — if the Palestinians’ attacks on the security services do not end.
The past saw many instances of violent clashes between the two populations, including the Black September events of 1970, in which then-young King Hussein ordered the liquidation of Palestinian terrorist organizations who were operating in the country and threatened his rule, with estimates of Palestinians killed ranging between 4000 and even 20,000….
That ferocious assault on the Palestinian terrorists of “Black September” by King Hussein’s Bedouin shock troops stamped out the threats to his rule. But now, his son’s regime is being challenged by these pro-Hamas Palestinians who want to force Jordan to come to the aid of Hamas — something King Abdullah knows would only lead to a devastating counter-attack by the IDF. The gulf between the “Jordanians” and the “Palestinians” is again widening in Jordan, with these violent attacks on the security services by pro-Hamas “Palestinian” rioters.
What would it mean if, after many long and bloody battles, King Abdullah were in danger of being toppled? Before that were to happen, I am sure that Saudi Arabia and the UAE, whose ruling families hate and fear both the Muslim Brotherhood and its Gazan version, Hamas, would intervene. That intervention would involve not just bombing, as they did in Yemen with the Houthis, but also Saudi, Emirati, and Pakistani ground troops (the latter paid for, as has happened before, by Riyadh) attacking inside Jordan. They don’t want pro-Hamas Palestinians in control of a country right on their doorstep. And Israel, of course, though prudently keeping its own counsel, would quietly welcome the Saudis and Emiratis coming to King Abdullah’s aid.

The King needs to counsel his wife who seems to be pro-Hamas since the Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas into Israel.

As now the muslims know the rotteness of the palestinians (descendants of southern greek philistines, without an ounce of arab dna.)

Jordanians are more tolerant than most of islam. But they Will also restore order with extreme force when they need to. These protestors are risking incurring that force with every protest.

Interesting to see such outpouring of concern for the poor innocent lovable “Palestinians” among all of the Muslim nations.
Will they take in any of them? Like Israel took in all the Jewish victims of Muslim savagery, since Israel was created?
I hear the distinct whirring of crickets.

Looks like a re-run of what happened in Kuwait in 1990, when Palestinians living in Kuwait sided w/ Saddam during the Iraqi occupation, and were kicked out when the al-Sabahs returned to power
In this case, given how hostile the Jordanian regime has been towards Israel lately, I actually wouldn’t mind if they were overthrown by the Palestinians: this time, I wouldn’t support a Black September like insurrection. I’d be fine w/ the Palestinians seizing power, and once they’re done, Israel should expel every Palestinian and Israeli Arab who supports either Hamas/Islamic Jihad/Fatah/PLO/al Aqsa/ or any other group that doesn’t recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state w/o any jihad being waged on it

Were the “Palestinian Jordanians” to wrest power from the “Jordanian Jordanians” it would be much easier to make the obvious point — there already exists a Palestinian Arab state.

I think branding might remain the obstacle, since the Palestinian Arabs are unlikely to rename Jordan “Palestine”. In fact, one reason they go by the name “Palestine” is that the Roman term “Palestine” did mean the area b/w the “river to the sea”: it’s not the name of just “West Bank” or Gaza Strip

1. Palestinians overthrow the Hashemites Government .
2. Hashemites forced out and go to England where they should have when they were kicked out of Arabia
3. Problem is what do the Christians in Jordan do.
4. Israel may have to destroy all remaining Jordanian Air Force and heavy equipment.
5. Jordan has a “festival” of “Hate Israel Parades”
6. Israel announces that Palestinians living in the west bank move to the east bank and joined by the people of Gaza.
7. And finally Jordan becomes Arab Palestine as it was always supposed to be and Israel’s problem is solved.

JOrdan is a fiction created by the brits who imported the hashemites who were originally promised iraq or syria by the brits for help in ww1. They all used to be called southern syrian arabs. Jordan invaded israel in 1948 and held the west bank until 1968. The west bankers had jordanian citizenship which they later removed when they signed a treaty with Israel. Their last citizenship was jordania they belong in Jordan in order to complete the population swap created when the Jews were driven from the arab lands, JOrdan represents 80% of the brit mandate land.

Rape, murder, lawlessness, riots, burning, and trafficking people or goods, is NOT “heroic resistance”. It is excuses for violent and criminal endeavors; it is cover for the Crime Syndicate of Islam. And, is used for the same purposes from the other two world wide Crime Syndicates, the Globalist Elites of the West and Marxist. Unless one begins to see how crime and lawlessness is propagated, for who it is propagated, and for what ultimate purposes it is on a world wide scale propagated, one splashes around in a vast ocean of misunderstandings! It is truly a very simplistic world explanation when we understand that those who lead these Crime Syndicates are really just criminals; very much psychotic sociopaths hell-bent on being masters, lords, and would-be gods of the earth, and the very heavens above our present world! All the religious, political, and academics underlying these three world wide Berlin-Wall encircling fiefdoms are at base, just organized criminal syndicates! For hedonism, wealth, and power! Understanding this as the world-view behind the minds leading our world under the guises of ‘rulers’, is the key to unraveling and explicating, as well as arresting and prosecuting, all those layers that lead to those who sit at the top of the apex of each world wide Crime Syndicate!
