This is a developing story. It could turn out not to be a jihad attack at all. But it is Ramadan, after all.
Mike says
My first thought was, is it a jihadist attack by Chechan or other Islamic radicals? Or, could it be a Ukrainian group doing a counter-reprisal?
Veronica says
An islamic Ukrainian group perhaps? Are there any Muslims living in Ukraine? Ukraine today is unrecognizable from the Ukraine my grandparents emigrated from in 1905.
T says
Ukrainians do not do these kind of things. They are civilized people unlike the russians. Sure, there are muslims living in Ukraine but they are not crazy like Checens for example.
Violet says
ISIS is horrid but to say no one in Ukraine would ever think of doing something terrible is preposterous. During WW2 some Ukrainians, were full Nazi’s. The Azov Brigade today is Nazi. Even worse that you paint the entire Russian people as uncivilized brutes. Haven’t they been hurt enough by decades of Communism? Who convinced you to demonize an entire people? CNN ?
Most assuredly not all people in Ukraine are bad or are they good. Same goes in Russia..
Hilly says
There are Muslim Chechens fighting for Putin in Ukraine under Kadyrov, as well as Chechens that are fighting for Ukraine.

Good point. Islamists are working from inside to take down anyone who is an infidel…so that’s all of us.
Tony Rice says
I very much doubt it would be in any way connected with UKRAINE. They don’t kill innocent citizens, but we know who does. The Kremlin may say it is Ukrainian as part of their reason for bombing the place.
Veronica says
BS. Ukraine is as bad as Russia is. They are cousins after all.
Wellington says
All part of the reason Russia should have looked to the West over the past two decades or more rather than to “eastward” and “southern” areas.
Yes, the West’s approach to Russia after the fall of the Evil Empire in 1991 was arguably not optimal (though not nearly as awful as Putin has made such out to be), but this does not mean that Russia has, once again, not made the gigantic mistake of aligning with the wrong side of history (proven by Russia’s current allies like North Korea, China and Iran, all horrible excuses in the cause of liberty and in the cause of mankind overall).
Meanwhile, Islam “marches on,” a menace to Russia, regardless of what Putin and the pathetic Russian Orthodox Patriarch aver, to the West certainly, and actually to all of the non-Islamic world.
Putin has been a tragedy for Russia. Whatever good he has done for his nation, he has done far greater harm to it. This should be his epitaph assuming truth prevails and which assumption is so very tenuous in any age, no more so than now.
James Lincoln says
All true, Wellington.
After the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia made the tragic mistake of not aligning with the West.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Actually, in Tucker Carlson’s interview, President Putin mentioned that he twice asked 2 presidents – first Bill Clinton and next George W Bush – whether Russia could join NATO. Bush was initially willing to consider it, but after checking w/ that genius Condi Rice (who has been endlessly analyzed on this site for her expertise in islam), the answer came back – No!
Honestly, NATO should have been disbanded when the Soviet Union came apart. Or rebranded and expanded to China’s border
FYI says
NATO needs Russia to be portrayed as the bad guy.
It is like in the Dark Knight when the Joker {laughingly}says to Batman “I don’t want to kill you.what would i do without you?….no no no NO!..You..you.{laughing}.complete me”
NATO needs Russia to be the enemy.
NATO could not exist without the Russians being portrayed as enemies.
But i don’t believe they are:it is the Globalist elite who are pushing for war who are our enemies. They need you to think that Russians are our enemies!
Think of the enormous amounts of money invested by the military industrial complex
Even more money is made by keeping that enginnered Russo-Ukraine war going
Even more money from a World War.
What would NATO do without Russia?
It would not, could not exist or justify the huge sums of money invested in it.
FYI says
BTW the Russians.
While i reject communism{an intolerant bogus political ideology that enslaves} as much as i reject islam[an intolerant bogus cult that enslaves} {No wonder we have a RED GREEN AXIS!} there is one thing really impressive that comes from Russia
The USSR’s{ soviet union’s} Anthem
Oh my God!
You do feel the spirit of the Russian people. No wonder the Germans lost
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
Thank you for your reply – and added information.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
FYI
Had NATO added Russia and responded to China’s Tienanmen Square massacre in kind, they could have rebranded NATO as North Arctic Treaty Organization, added Russia and defined the new mission statement as taking on China. We wouldn’t be dreading them today
Once islam started raising its ugly head, they could have defined islam as the enemy as well. We would not have been critical of the crackdown on the Chechens, we would not have waged a war on Serbia, this whole bloc would have stood by Israel and Turkey would probably have not seen the rise of Erdogan. The Iran regime might have crumbled, as well as the gulf sheikhdoms a lot earlier. It would have been a much better world
John Smith says
As always you’re absolutely 100% spot on. Wellington I also happen to know that you’re an extremely well informed person as to what is happening in the world today. My question to you is this. Is it just a coincidence that Putin’s birthday is Oct 7th and the invasion of Israel was also Oct 7th. Is there a connection there. My question goes out to anyone else that can answer this
SKA says
This past year’s October 7th was the 50 year anniversary of the start of the 1973 Yom Kippur War. It was also a high holy day of Shmini Azteret, final day of the week-long Feast of Tabernacles and also a Shabbat during which Hamas expected to find Jewish families either in their homes resting or praying in the synagogues.
John Smith says
Interesting SKA , yes there could well be a connection why they chose this date..
࿗Infidel࿘ says
That was Nikki Haley’s theory. Yeah, Putin’s birthday is on October 7th, but the claim that Hamas chose that day for that reason is just her smoking something from the CBD businesses that some of her neocon colleagues like John Boehner now dabble in
John Smith says
Thanks for that Infidel
John Smith says
Thanks for that Infidel
࿗Infidel࿘ says
You’re welcome, JS
Violet says
Apparently Putin had discussed the idea of joining NATO with Bill Clinton. Clinton was ok with it but the powers behind Clinton denied Russia entry. That always seemed odd to me. During WW2 Russia became our ally and after WW2 we helped our enemies, Japan & Germany rebuild. But for Russia…we’ve refused to help out even one inch after they decided to shut down Communist USSR. Why?
somehistory says
were not the *chechens* the ones several years ago who took over a school and murdered young kids for islam?
Yes, yes it was chechen mozlums. So, we can bet this is terror via islam.

the same pigs that pulled off the Boston Marathon bombing
David M says
I wouldn’t like to be those Chechans when the Russian guards in jail get hold of them. Might get ….nasty.
Mike says
Hey, I’ve heard that pig guts don’t sell so well in Chechnya, do they?! Bon appetit!
tgusa says
Another day, another concert, another murderous attack on unarmed civilians by the oh so brave warriors of islam. Every news and opinion outlet labels it terrorism but refuse call it that anymore. In reality it is just another attack in the total war that islam declared against all others 1400 years ago. Meanwhile, western media types and politicians cry that Israel must protect so-called civilians in hamasistan in the wake of an attack that is similar in nature to the one today in Moscow. Those people can all go straight to hell, all of them, whoever whatever and wherever they are. I have had more than enough. Anyone siding with these monsters are part of them by extension. Take names, keep a list, never forget.
somehistory says
I read part of an “opinion” piece on the Hill and the guy was saying that the war in the ME is the fault of Christians.
I only read a small bit of the tripe; couldn’t stomach any more.
The toads cry over the fight to eliminate a large faction of the warring mozlums, and then another faction attacks another venue in another country and they all climb on board to know who did it and why.
Will they later fault Russia if those responsible hide among their own communities and some *innocents* are killed?
abu taleb says
The white conservative Christians are considered as the most dangerous people by some western governments, yet I never know any terrorist from that group killing people and shouting “haleluyah”.
So, what is the criteria by those western government to put the group into the most dangerous terrorists? Must be, the white conservative Christians (I think not nly white, but conservative Christians) are against abortion, satanism, LGBTQ++, pedophilia, child mutilation etc which are the agenda of those western governments.
Muslims kill people, that is fine as long as the elite lefts are not the victims.
tgusa says
“The white conservative Christians are considered as the most dangerous people”
That is because white conservative Christians have a reputation. The evil doers will tell you who they are most afraid of. So far, white conservative Christians are in the observation stage and haven’t yet decided to go all in. But when they have finally had enough…

That image is the criteria for their fear.
James Lincoln says
tgusa,
When I was first commissioned into the U.S. Navy, my first duty station was at NAS Pensacola.
At the time, my parents came down to visit me and I showed them around the base. Barrancas National Cemetery is located on base, and we all paid a visit. My father, a former World War II US Army medic, my mother, and I all paid our respects to the fallen.
It was very emotional – particularly for my parents – and they couldn’t stay long. Later, they told me that they were worried about me…
tgusa says
You probably should have just showed them the Exchange. When I signed up I came home and told my mom what I had done. Not too many years after Vietnam and she still remembered the TV news casts on the war. At that time the news people were non-stop harping on Reagan getting us into a war with the USSR. You should have seen the look on her face, very worried. It didn’t seem to bother my Army veteran Dad.
James Lincoln says
tgusa,
Thanks for your reply, and I fully understand your recommendation.
But my parents wanted to ride around and see the whole base, it’s impossible to not see the cemetery.
OLD GUY says
They will be given time, right now they are useful idiots doing the bidding of islamic money.
Gary Fouse says
Hopefully now Putin will realize who he really should be fighting a war against.
England Invaded says
Coming to a crowded place near you soon.
Mike says
And now Hamas, of all people, are giving their condolences to Russia, Putin, and the victims of the I.S. attack.
Ben says

RalphG says
I don’t usually generalize unpleasantly about any racial or ethnic group, but Islam leaves me no choice. The only good Muslim is a dead one. They have earned this “distinction” by many Centuries of the worst possible barbaric behavior. We now have them in the House, Senate and recently the presidency. Like frogs in the pot, enjoying the warm water, we blunder along not realizing that the instruments of our national destruction are gaining on us.
James Lincoln says
RalphG,
Muslims can be from any race or ethnic group – and being muslim is NOT an “immutable” characteristic.
