On April 1 the IDF destroyed a military headquarters of the Iranian Al-Quds force, which had been disguised as a “consulate” in Damascus, situated right next to Iran’s embassy. Among the sixteen people killed were two Al-Quds generals, and the overall head of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps-Al Quds in Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, Mohamed Reza Zahedi. He was the highest-ranking Iranian military man killed since the Americans dispatched Qassem Soleimani in 2020 at the Baghdad Airport. At least five others killed at the so-called “consulate” were high-ranking officers in the IRGC. Iran at once warned darkly of the terrible revenge it would soon take on the Jewish state. It has made such threats in the past, and nothing has happened. And nothing has happened this time, as of a week later, but the IDF is preparing for the worst. It has cancelled all leaves, in order to make sure it has enough personnel to handle both its anti-missile defense systems and to conduct Israel’s airstrikes.
More on the IDF’s preparations, which may be enough to frighten Iran into not carrying out its threatened retaliation, can be found here: “IDF halts leave for combat troops, intel chief warns ‘worst is yet to come,'” Jerusalem Post, April
The IDF on Thursday said it has halted leave for all combat units after an Israeli airstrike that killed an Iranian general in Damascus earlier this week drew threats of retaliation.
“In accordance with the situational assessment, it has been decided that leave will be temporarily paused for all IDF combat units,” the IDF said in a statement. “The IDF is at war, and the deployment of forces is under continuous assessment according to requirements.”
On Wednesday, the IDF said it would call up reservists to bolster the IAF’s air defenses.
The decisions come amid heightened tensions in Israel and increasing threats by Iran in the wake of an alleged Israeli strike in Syria, which killed senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Mohammad Reza Zahedi.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Thursday said Israel would pay a “heavy price” for the attack.
IDF Spokesperson R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari on Thursday said: “IDF soldiers are well deployed in both defensive and tactical arrays on all borders and are prepared for a variety of scenarios. We must be alert, and at the same time, I want to emphasize, there is no change to the Home Front Command’s guidelines at this time.”…
The Israelis are clearly not deterred by any threats coming either from President Raisi in Iran, or from Hezbollah’s head in Lebanon, that miles gloriosus, Hasssan Nasrallah, who while making his own bloodcurdling threats to Israel is so terrified of being hit by the IDF that he is said to move to a different dwelling every night and almost never appears in public.
The IDF continues to attack Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, always taking care, in these tit-for-tat exchanges, to hit Hezbollah much harder, and to inflict much more damage, than the terror group has inflicted on them.
The Israelis are now engaged on three fronts: first, with Hamas in Gaza, second, with Hezbollah on its northern border with Lebanon, and third, with the Houthis in the Red Sea who have halted shipping in the waterway so critical to Israel’s trade with Asia. Now Iran, the most dangerous of the Jewish state’s enemies, the malign puppet-master that sustains and directs all the other terror groups against Israel, has — not for the first time — made threats directly to Israel. Will this be the occasion when Iran finally makes good on its numerous threats to attack Israel? The IDF is certainly acting on that assumption. The Bidenites ought to be backing Israel to the hilt in such fraught times, with this four-front war now facing it. Washington could even declare that an attack by Iran on Israel will be treated as an attack on the U.S. which, in effect, it will be. Surely if we can offer that guarantee to Turkey, a supporter of Hamas, we ought to offer Israel, our most loyal ally, the same. The Bidenites, however, are extraordinarily unlikely to do such a thing.

Threats from iran should give any critics of Israel some idea that Israel is right to keep fighting to the death of hamas. Probably won’t, but they should.
hamas started it, hezbollah added on…right away….and now iran is directly -not just through the terror groups, but as the terror state that it is- threatening to escalate the war beyond what it has already funded and instigated.

Wussy Biden is hurriedly assuring the Shia Islamists that his pants are down and he’s ready to submissively grab his ankles upon demand.
Seriously between the red heifers, Passover, the upcoming execution of remaining Hamas leaders, Iran’s mullahs’ egos, Shia war prophecy and the Mahdi, taqqiya, MRBM’s, and a large amount of weapons grade uranium, and Christian prophecy plus the myriad of lunar and multiple solar eclipses over US, something terrible and exciting is going to occur.
The antichrist will be introducing himself.

Keep in mind that this catastrophic cascade of events in the Middle East “never would have happened” under Pres. Trump.
Considering all of the messes that they have created – and now have to deal with – are the Democrats still happy that they had stolen the 2020 election?

Yes, because $$$ flow into their pockets. That is their god.

G S,
Point taken, and thanks for your reply.

IMO, even the Jews of America are against Israel defending its people by eradicating Hamas and going after Hezbollah and the IRGC. I would bet that most Democrats fall into lockstep with Obama’s hatred of Israel and love for Iran. I am glad that Netanyahu is strong enough to ignore the Biden/Obama regime’s pressure to quit their sworn duty to end Hamas and protect their people by doing so.

“the Jews of America are against Israel defending its people”
some very loud liberal Jews, Jews in name only and the tiny weird incestuous cult Neturei Karta maybe, but the majority support Israel, nearly all Orthodox Jews are Conservative / Republican.
