I just want to start off by thanking Elizabeth for including me as part of her ARC team.

Even though I was an ARC reader for this book, this is still my honest review.

This was my first read by Elizabeth and holy cow, I cannot say enough good things about it. I LOVED this book. Like legitimately loved everything about it. It is easily one of my top small town romance reads this year. Her writing flows so seamlessly and the inner monologues of the characters? She does them so well.

I absolutely adored James. I also love horses and love to ride so she hit a soft spot in my heart. The way she (pun intended) grabbed the reins in a man’s world with grace and leadership was incredible. And then there is Adam. I just wanted to reach out and hug him the whole time. The relationship that transpired between these two stole my heart. I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. I loved how they supported one another and helped heal the hurt.

Overall, this book was nothing short of incredible. It’s a short, fun read but the story lacks nothing. I can’t wait for the next book in this series, (*cough cough* Brax.)
Elizabeth has definitely earned herself a list on my auto-buy list.

ARC Review:

A Cowboy in the Streets by Elizabeth Bright was AMAZING! I mean a grumpy x sunshine trope and cowboys, sign me up. I absolutely devoured this book! This was well written and I absolutely loved the characters. The storyline progressed perfectly!

James was a great FMC! She was a strong, independent, and funny. I loved how she never gave up on her dreams no matter what. I also loved her friend group. Chloe was so funny and I hope to see more of her! Adam was the perfect brooding cowboy. I liked how James and Adam’s relationship progressed throughout the story. I am definitely excited to read more from Elizabeth Bright! I absolutely loved how this was written. I highly recommend this book if you love cowboy, grumpy x sunshine, and single dad romance books!

If you are a fan of Elise Silver’s cowboy romances, then you are going to love this book!

A Cowboy in the Streets
By: Elizabeth Bright
🐎
James is such a badass FMC. She tikes life by the reins and rides. She is determined to make her dreams come true, for the most part. Determined to become the best. Yet she’s kind of shy, she wants approval (who doesn’t?).. she settles right in and is literally sunshine. & so funny.
Oh grumpy Adam… swoon, grumpy for a good enough reason. He shoves feeling as far as they can go and does what he needs to do for the sake of his family. Even if it leaves him scowling at everyone and more so bc of a horse trainer. Adam’s family is so funny! Esp his dad and sandwich names. Single dad who loves his son so much, would make any woman swoon. & his talk in the sheets, yes please. 😮‍💨
🐎
Easy read. Effortless flow. Banter. Romance. Comedy. I caught myself laughing out loud A LOT. ESP the first night of the hotel, I died laughing. Favorite quote though, “…I kissed you because I was cold, and you are the fucking sun.” ☀️

Ugh I didn’t want this book to end at all. It was SOO good. Adam Hale is the definition of a gentleman… with a little bit of trauma. My heart breaks for that man, but he was still so strong for the ranch and for his son. James Campos is so hardworking and I admire how much she tries to prove her dad wrong. OH! And I love her pink boots! 🩷
The nicknames?! I love them! It’s different and I haven’t heard them before which makes this book so good.

"You know what they say, a cowboy in the streets, a beast in the sheets.” -Chole

She's had my attention since the moment I heard her laugh in the coffee shop. Warm and full. She was like the sun. The closer I got to her orbit, the warmer I felt. And I was so fucking cold. Cold and empty. -Adam

ARC review:

Cowboy romances have quickly taken over my life. A cowboy in the Streets did NOT disappoint! I’m a sucker for a small town, single dad, grumpy-sunshine cowboy romance. Did I mention single dad? Has to be one of my favorite tropes! I love the relationship that grew between James & Adam. Even while Adam was being his usual grumpy self, he still respected James and watched her do her thing. I loved the progression of their relationship throughout the book.. it wasn’t too fast so it felt like a real relationship.

If you’re a fan of cowboy romances and small town romances, give this book a try! I doubt you will be left disappointed.

Thank you to the author, Elizabeth Bright, for giving me the opportunity to read this!

I’ve never read a true cowboy romance until this book and it’s safe to say that I. fell. in. LOVE. I have to start with James, I loved her personality, her sass, confidence, everything. Such a strong character And don’t get me started on Adam, the grump thing just worked for him, but i loved when he started showing another side of him, he was so good to James even through his personal struggles.

The only thing I missed in this book was the journals, I wanted some more context into what they said, maybe even a passage that would’ve been in one of them.

I absolutely adored this book and I cannot wait for the next one in August 🤍

also thanks to the author for giving me the opportunity to read this book early 🤍

4.5 ⭐️ Adored this book! I mean cowboy x single dad ? what more could you want.

Really this book was super cute and sizzling. This small town romance was just what I needed and Elizabeth DELIVERED.

James and Adam were top tier from the start. The MEET-CUTE are you kidding me? I loved their relationship from the beginning. The whole grumpy x sunshine really played its part there and the banter. Loved it. But the way Adam and James cared for each other when they both thought they shouldn’t just melted my heart.

This story was just incredible. They both found a new person inside of each other to start over. 🤍

My cheeks literally hurt from smiling so much lol. This book gave me all the feel goods and a couple moments of tears. I had trouble putting it down. Literally fell asleep with my kindle 😅. I enjoyed the banter between really all of the characters. James (fmc) is such a lovable character, determined, strong willed and witty. Adam (mmc) oof he'd really been through it and I loved the way James helped him heal. On a spice scale I'd say 🌶🌶 (personally) but the scenes we did get were 🥵🔥.
Overall I really loved this book and can't wait for the next one I need more of Brax's story.

Thank you Elizabeth for trusting me with this ARC i can't wait to read more of your work 🖤

This was my first novel by Elizabeth, and it diff won't be my last. A Cowboy in the Streets, was such a cute, heartwarming small town romance. I fell in love instantly. Adam the broody cowboy with the weight of the world on his shoulders. James the spunky, hardworking, beautiful horse trainer. These two were a match made in heaven. I just loved how their relationship developed, and how spicy Adam's mouth was. Holy Moly. Literally save a horse ride a cowboy. I can't wait to see the other stories that are going to be told within this series. Enjoy!

I didn't even know I wanted to read a cowboy romance until this one.

Forgot how much I love blue collar romances.

James and Adam were 😍. I loved James independence and her strengths. Adam's broody look was just 🔥, a lot of deep insecurities.
