Lectio-Visio Divina: A Practice of Heart-Centered PrayerSATURDAY, APRIL 27 | 10:00am -12:00pm Are you interested in deepening your prayer life, but find meditation difficult? Learn a visual way to pray with words (lectio divina – divine reading) and images (visio divina – divine seeing) together. This Lectio-Visio Divina exercise will use abstract monoprint images together with words of spiritual wisdom from women across the ages. Moving through four movements, we will extend from active reading/gazing to reflecting on a personal connection to responding with heart-centered prayer to resting in contemplation. No previous meditation experience is required.
