Out of the list of favorite things I wanted to do this holiday season, falling for the tycoon threatening to expose my lie wasn’t one of them.
All I want is a few days of rest—some time to escape the pressures of 6 a.m. practices, sponsors, athletic coaches, and most of all, my Dad-ager (dad and manager) to constantly perform, especially with the highly anticipated X Games coming up in a few weeks.
A few days off during the holiday season is exactly what I need to regroup. I savor the idea of sipping hot chocolate, eating my weight in gingerbread cookies, and hitting the slopes at my leisure—just like when I was a kid.
Yes, I might have told a small, white lie to get my break.
Truly, it’s harmless.
That is until a cocky and stunningly gorgeous business tycoon uncovers the truth. Now he’s threatening to go public with what he knows unless I give him what he wants.
And what he wants this holiday season is …me?
Now, instead of lonely nights by the fire, sipping hot cocoa I find myself in the arms of the man threatening to expose my secret, worse still, I don’t think I ever want to leave.
**Pick up this spicy interracial holiday novella today**
Can I just say I love blackmail stories? And to mix it during the Christmas season?! Oh yeah, I’m so here for that in all the right ways, especially interracial relationships! I love every single one of Tiffany’s books and I don’t know why I’m always surprised:
I love that we get to see Dae’s cousin, Taehyun, gets to have his own story and I love that these two kind of in a way have some history. When he decides to blackmail her over her dirty, little secret, he doesn’t expect to have feelings over her, and boy is it so sweet?
I love how we get bits of pieces of Aaron because let’s face it, he’s the most unhinged Townsend man ever. That’s why Kyle is the way he is.
I loved the gingerbread competition so much. What I loved was how Taehyun really went out and bought ingredients for her favorite cookies so they could keep making them over and over.
What took the cake was how he called her father to come to Christmas. That had to be the sweetest thing ever. He is the most protective man she’s ever met but he will do anything to make her happy.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Imagine this: you're at a stunning ski resort in Colorado, snow falling gently, holiday lights twinkling everywhere, and your main priority is to relax. Then BOOM—blackmail! The audacity! That's exactly the kind of chaos Tiffany Patterson drops you into with her novella. And honestly? She makes being blackmailed over Christmas weirdly romantic.
Our girl Tania is not just any snowboarder—she’s a pro and Taeyhun, a South Korean billionaire. Taeyhun discovers her little secret and decides to use it to his advantage. But before you side-eye him too hard, let me just say this: he’s more “puppy-dog eyes” than “shady blackmailer.”
What makes this novella swoony is how Taeyhun isn’t just out here scheming for kicks. The man’s been smitten for SIX months, replaying their first meeting in his head like it’s a K-drama. Sure, he’s cutthroat in business, but when it comes to Tania? He’s basically baking her heart-shaped gingerbread cookies. And let’s not forget the extra billionaire moves: renting out a private ski lounge and even dealing with her overbearing dad.
If you’re into AMBW romances with all the festive feels, this novella is the perfect holiday treat. Cozy vibes, swoon-worthy moments, and a hero who does the most (in the best way)? Add this to your Christmas TBR immediately.
This was a cute holiday romance in the Townsend universe. It features Dae’s cousin (Kennedy’s husband) Taehyun and Olympic snowboarder Tania. What starts as a little blackmail and revenge on Taehyun’s part, pretty quickly evolves into way more.
It was cute seeing their relationship blossom and of course checking in with our favorite family. Although where the heck are Diego and Monique??? They are getting enough love for me lol.
If you want cute quick holiday read check this one out.
All Tania wants to do is relax and enjoy this resort's Christmas vibe. And she's going to do it. Or she WAS, until a gorgeous guy shamelessly blackmails her into hanging out with him instead. The last thing she wants is for her secret (she's faking an injury to take this break) to get out and have her father and her assistant put more on her plate. But as she and Taeyhun start spending more and more time together, she's starting to realize she has a lot to be grateful for this holiday season. If only she knew Taeyhun's real motivation for his little act of blackmail...
Taeyhun is used to getting what he wants. And what (who) he wants is this beautiful snowboarder. He's been obsessed with her for longer than she knows and now he's in a position to have her, so he'll claim her even if he has to be a bit underhanded about it. But he's finding she's even more amazing than he knew, and he wants to keep her, which may be impossible once she finds out HIS secret.
Considering it's the end of November, I am of course in the holiday romance mood, so am on the hunt for good ones. Tania and Taeyhun's story is more than good, it's excellent. The whole vibe is sweet and cozy with a huge dash of spice thrown in. The blackmail is even sweet, as it and Taeyhun are on the lighthearted end of the blackmail spectrum, fitting perfectly with the holiday cheery mood. And the very best part - they're an interracial couple, an uncommon one (she's Black and he's Asian), so I'm doubly in love with this delicious holiday romance.

Just in time for the holiday season, we are diving back into the world of the Townsends. However, we are digging deeper into Taehyun Kim and his leading lady, Tania Casey, for the latest installment. Of course, before we reach our long-awaited HEA, we must get to know our main couple. Taehyun Kim is a widely successful business tycoon first introduced in his older cousin Dae’s story. However, readers only get to catch him in brief instances. He is navigating and participating in his first Christmas solo with his cousin and the rest of the Townsend clan. However, that all changes when Taehyun discovers Snowboarder Tania Casey is staying at the same resort. This is where our story takes a rather interesting turn. Tania Casey is a well-known snowboarder who longs for some time to enjoy one of her favorite times of the year like she once did as a kid. However, her guarded secret about her injury is in danger of being exposed by no other than Taehyun. Of course, Taehyun presents Tania with a proposal in exchange for his silence. I won’t spill the whole story, but I will say Taehyun and Tania made a truly enjoyable couple. Tania learns how to advocate more for herself while spending time with Taehyun. Taehyun learns there is more to life than landing lucrative business deals and revenge. Tania and Taehyun both shared the need for approval from their respective fathers. The story is also full of holiday cheer, steamy romance, heartwarming moments, and the humor we come to expect from the author. There are several enjoyable cameos from some of our favorite Townsend family members and new characters as well. I had my theories, but I was still pleasantly surprised. After a few stumbling blocks our main couple got back on track to their HEA. Overall, I enjoyed the story. I am patiently looking forward to seeing whose story is up next.
Kiss me was so good. And this story is the perfect holiday addition to the Townsend Legacy series . Tania and Taehyun's story was sweet, swoony and heartwarming, full of love and holiday magic. Tania is hiding and taking a break... sort of . Taehyun is at the same winter resort for the Townsend's holiday gathering. Taehyun is Dae's cousin and is a little bit obsessed with Tania. And when he sees the opportunity he blackmails Tania in spending time with him. Tania wants to have a Christmas as she remembers it. And I totally think that Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Pair it with ginger bread cookies and hot chocolate and it's the perfect holiday experience. Taehyun doesn't like Christmas but for Tania he's rethinking it . They both are strong-willed and smart and stubborn and are so perfect for each other. I loved it how Tae embraced the holiday magic for her and created a Christmas heaven and helped mending the broken relationship with her father. And Tania gave Tae hope and reason to like the holidays. That epilogue was so sweet. If you love a good holiday romance Kiss Me is the perfect Christmas story . Oh , and all the others from the Townsend clan are appearing with the usual banter and sarcastic remarks .
Thanks to the author and WordSmith Publicity for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.
Tania is an Olympic gold medallist in snowboarding and also a role model to many young aspiring athletes, especially to the Black community. Taehyun is a real estate tycoon who was born in Korea and is now working closely with his cousin Dae.
Both Tania and Taehyun end up at the same resort during the holidays and he ends up blackmailing her into going out on a date with him. As they spend more time together, Tania soon realises that Taehyun is superbly attentive towards every detail that she shares and he makes it his mission to make her dreams and wants come true.
But Taehyun is hiding some secrets from Tania. He is definitely not a cinnamon roll but more of a morally grey “hero”. As he rightly says, he goes all out to get what (and who) he wants. When all secrets are revealed, can Tania still trust in Taehyun and can their relationship survive? Read this to find out.
I liked the diversity in this book as the pairing is rare and unique. It is also less common to see the female main character in sports, instead of a male. The Townsend family is also huge and loud, and so much fun together! I enjoyed the Christmas-y scenes with them and I loved them for being so welcoming to Tania.
Tania and Taeyhun meet while she's at a Colorado ski resort hiding out for Christmas as an international snowboader. She's faked a more serious injury to get away for a while but is still being supervised by her assistant. Taeyhun sees her faking this and attempts to blackmail her into basically accompaning him on his vacation with his family. Taeyhun is a millionaire helping to run his family's South Korean company. He's worth a lot of money, and it talks for him as he slowly manipulates the situation between the two. The arrangement is only about a week long and ends near Christmas. Tania goes along to not be exposed.
Here's the deal, the real reason she is faking the injury comes to light, and Taeyhun starts to make her Christmas come true with activities. A couple of those are with his family, and a couple are with just him. He becomes quite the golden retriever for her. He was actually smitten with her 6 months before this, but thought he had been turned down. He vows she will be his. I enjoyed this quick Christmas novella. I absolutely enjoyed the cultural representation of both characters as she was a Black Female snowboader, and he was a South Korean businessman.
Thank you, author, for the ARC! Release Date: November 21, 2024
Tania is lying. She is spending time at a resort on crutches to heal an injury she doesn’t actually have. Taehyun knows Tania is lying and he confronts her. He offers her a deal, he won’t out her to the media for lying about her injury if she will go out with him. What starts as a way to get a sort of revenge for being turned down by her 6 months earlier becomes more once Tania reveals why she is really faking her injury.
Taehyun is a typical alpha MMC. He stops at nothing to get what he wants, and he wants Tania. Taehyun isn’t being honest with himself about why he wants to spend time with Tania, but the more time they spend together the steamier their interactions become. If you want a super steamy hot holiday read with a super alpha MMC who will stop at nothing to claim his woman, this is the book for you. My only complaint is that it’s only a novella. I wanted so much more of Tania and Taehyun. Another great installment in the Townsend Legacy series, this time with some side characters in a well deserved spotlight.

Its beginning to look a lot like kissmas! I absolutely loved this book pre holiday season, it was short and sweet and of course you got to see the ever growing and loving Townsend clan. T&T were definitely a power couple throughout and seeing as they’re both successful in their field, it was beautiful to see a short romance encapsulate how possible it is to meet your person within a week.
This book honestly lifted my spirits and made me so happy because honestly who doesn’t love LOVE! Tania’s reason for the ruse she pulled was worth it because her dad seemed to loose the meaning of Christmas and if that didn’t happen she wouldn’t have met Taehyun!
To see this book come to an end saddened me greatly because I could’ve just been a fly on the wall in their lives, but the bonus epilogue didn’t disappoint. I won’t ruin it but what’s meant to be will always be and I’m happy to see how things worked out for them.
This book was the perfect addition to the series! Short, sweet with all the Townsend characters we know and love, along with new characters and a new story connecting them to the dynasty. Though this was a novella I loved that the author gave us an in depth look at the main characters, I also loved that she did her research. The detail she was able to give about Tania’s job and Taehyun’s culture shows she goes beyond the surface level when it comes to the depth of her characters and the stories. Five stars! Can’t wait to hear more about this couple whenever the next story comes! Bravo Tiffany!!
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Tania Casey is a snowboarder and wants some time for herself and tells a little white lie to get it. Taehyun Kim is a business tycoon and is staying at the same resort as Tania.
When he uncovers her secret, he threatens to expose her. Unless she goes on a date with him. And so they start spending more time together and getting to know one another. I loved their chemistry and passion. They were made for each other.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for an interracial, billionaire, holiday romance then you’re going to love it.
Tania is a gold medallist pro snowboarder, who fakes an injury just to get a break away from the pressure of her sponsors, coaches, dad / manager, and Taehyun is a billionaire business tycoon. When these two are staying at the same resort, Taehyun knows Tania is faking it, and blackmails her to give him what he wants, or he will expose her secret. This is a well written story which has family, friendships, emotions, secrets, forced proximity, trust, revenge, revelations, humor, and love, which leads to an entertaining and fun addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Tiffany Patterson is an amazing author. She knows how to draw her reading in and keep their interest. Kiss Me was no different I read this book in one sitting and wanted more. Tae and Tania had a hot dynamic. Tae does not like being told no and he made that very clear to Tania. Tania tried as hard as she could to fight Tae’s demands, but Tae was up for the challenge even if it included blackmail. It was nice to see Tiffany do a story about a female who was struggling with the demands of her career and expectations from her father. This book was shorter than I would have liked, but a very nice book for the holidays. So grab some gingerbread cookies and eggnog and curl up with Kiss Me.
Taehyun should have been a Townsend with the way he began his relationship. but I guess he really is a brother/cousin to Dae because he stalked Kennedy for 10 years before he made contact. their story was sexy. he started off wanting her because he assumed she had rejected him, and he found out she hadn't. and when they scandal broke her moved heaven and earth with the assistance of the Townsend clan to work it out. and the heavens moved. and their love story was working out like all the rest of them had. loved them together. can't wait for the rest.
Kiss Me (Townsend Legacy) by Tiffany Patterson gave me the Christmas feels. The Townsends were on board along with Dae and Kennedy. The MMC and MFC are Taehyun Kim, Dae's cousin and Tania Casey. Tania Casey is champion Snowboarder. That was an awesome and unusual choice of sport. I loved it!! Tania needed a break from her hectic schedule and kind of faked her injury. Taehyun discovered her secret and used it to blackmail Tania to spend a week with him. Read to see what can happen in a week's time. 💋👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
A fun and sexy novella that hit all the right spots. Enjoyable from the first page and the characters were relatable ~Jen
This was a cute holiday romance. Tania and Taehyun are an unlikely couple. Tania is a famous snowboarder, Taehyun a businessman. Their coupling begins with some emotional blackmail which soon turns into interest and finally love. It was sweet the way Taehyun catered to Tania and did everything for her happiness. There was humor, light angst and holiday fun throughout the pages. ~Cindy
Another great addition to the Townsend library of books As also this was a great book with the Townsend gang in attendance as we meet Tania and Taehyun The road to their HEA was in true Townsend style and the HEA we all want happened to make you feel happy at the ending but sad that it ended Tiffany always delivers when she is writing about the Townsends You can’t go wrong reading about them and all her other books in her catalogue Get your copy today! Happy reading!!
It’s hard not to miss the Townsend Family. This holiday novella gives us a glimpse or two into the lives of this familiar cast of characters while focusing on our FMC, Tania and MMC, Tae, the latter being the cousin of Dae, husband of Kennedy Townsend.
How far will you go to reclaim pieces of you that you’ve lost ? What mountains would you move to right a presumed wrong? Well we find out quickly with lots of holiday charm and Townsend family spirit serving as the perfect backdrop.
All Tania needed was a break from her hectic schedule and the pressure her Dad-ager put on her. But in comes Taehyun with his blackmail. He knows what she is hiding but he is determined to get revenge on her for not remembering him months prior and turning him down. She thinks it's blackmail but it is more than that and it turns out to be more than blackmail. Taehyun wants her for a lifetime and he's willing to do anything to make sure she's happy including patching up her father's relationship.
I can't wait to read Liza's story. There has to be one there.
It’s a sweet novella that takes place at Christmas time with The Townsends in Colorado. This story features Taehyun, Dao’s cousin who we met in Save Me. The FMC is Tania, a Black gold medalist in snowboarding.
Tania is looking for a quiet week celebrating Christmas with a secret. Taehyun knows the secret and uses it to get close to her. The book is about the week they spend together and how they find love.
I’m actually rating this 3.5 ⭐️s. Borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited.
Being honest, the only reason I didn’t give this book five stars is because I wish it was longer. Yep, that’s the only reason. Selfish of me, right? Right. Tae truly showed Tania how much she meant to him. And he did this from the very beginning. Nope, he didn’t have to “learn from his mistakes” in order to express his love for her. He did it because it was the right thing to do and because he loved her. Tiffany, please put this one on Audible as well.
Wow just as good as the rest of this family stories, I love how you went from Deborah & Robert sons to their children story. I’ve re-read the first series, I know during the winter season when I need a good story to read over,I’ll read the children’s series. I’ve even re-read the Black Burlesques Series. I made sure I checked follow on your page so I would know when any of your new books drop so I can get it.
This is a nice and sweet Christmas story. I'm glad that Tae got to carve out his own piece of happiness. He was just as smitten with Tania as his cousin Dae is with Kennedy. I'm glad Tania took the time to carve out what she wanted in the break even though she told a little black lie to do it. It works out for her in the end, getting her daddy back and finding love on the slopes.
Taehyun always got what he wanted… « rejected » a few months prior … and when an opportunity popped up, he couldn’t help but take it. Tania’s secret was found out by none other than Taehyun and what he wanted in return was her … All she wanted was some time to unwind and have the perfect Christmas. Together they are magic !! Great characters and storyline, not to mention all the Townsends and My Dae ( I just love him) was there !! What next!? Can’t wait !!
This is a great read. I love how Taehyun puts Tania first. He is a great listener who shows his love language through actions. I was disappointed in Tania. She so quickly mistrust him despite his many actions showing he cares. The blackmail was one strike against so many positives. Plus he blackmailed her to spend time with him. This is now one of my fave BWAM romances.
