Hunter (Black Angels MC Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 1,031 ratings

Mallory I spent years running from my past. Then, when my past comes knocking in the form of dark, delicious sin, I find myself caught up in a man I shouldn’t. My son's uncle. A dangerous biker. Not to mention, an overbearing Alpha male. Hunter is everything I need to escape from, yet I find myself wanting to stay. I know I shouldn't let myself or my son care for him, but I can't help wondering if maybe he's the one who can finally save me from my past. Hunter The plan was simple. Find my nephew, bring him home, and raise him in the Black Angels like my brother would have wanted. But things never go as planned, like my nephew’s mother. My brother’s one-night stand. Mallory is spicy and sweet; one second she is mouthing off to me, and the next, she is moaning my name. The longer I’m with her, the harder she is to ignore. But she is hiding something while desperate to escape me, though I have her in my grasp. I will find out what she is hiding, and when I do, she will have nowhere left to run.

Writing books had been a big part of my life for many years; whether it was writing in secret notebooks during class, writing amateur novels or posting stories online, I surrounded myself with it.

Of course, it has its up and downs, but I've never once thought that writing wasn't for me.

Because of that, I can share the worlds I discover in my head with the outside world, and although that might sound crazy to some, it's fine by me. So long as I can do what I love, I'm happy.

And every person who's happy as a result of my writing is a bonus for which, I'm forever grateful for.

I really loved this book. Mallory proved to be a worthy heroine and no doormat. I am so tired of women letting their heroines give in with the bat of an eye. Hunter was a member of the Black Angels MC. Brother of Mallory's baby daddy. I really liked that not only was the story centered on main characters but on the side ones too. I loved Wolf,Jax,Mint and Pretty almost as much as Hunter. Interesting plot so I will be reading the next one. I noticed only 3 in series,so I,as well, would like a story for some of the other guys. I forgot Lamb too.

Have her arrested for kidnapping her own child, which is a joke because with joint custody either person can take the child anywhere, and a few pretty words and she forgives you?? Nope. No way. No how. As soon as those cuffs were off she should have throat-punched him.

And let's talk about the Pres. Betrayed and lied to his own men, and no one bats an eye?? That's bull.

I really liked all the characters, and the chemistry between Mallory and Hunter was off the chart. I love it when the characters aren't falling all over each other within the first quarter of a book. I like the conflict and angst to be dragged out and the characters to have to fight against their attraction for one another as long as possible before the finally give in and get together. The story was filled with love between a mother and son, a lost love and a new love and it had the issues of MC problems also. If I could, I would give this book ten stars. P.S. I really hope there will be books about Jax (who cracks me up) and about the surprise character that shows up in the warehouse and a happy ending for Hunter and this person (don't want to give a way any plot surprises). Putting this book on my list of favorite books.

First time read for me from this author. I enjoyed storyline and characters. The only thing is some of my questions are unknown, like who is Crash? What was in the letters Noble left? I hope we get the answers in the other stories of the series. This author has a great way of telling a story. I couldn't put the book down once I started. Love it. Happy Reading!!!

Loved this emotional tale. Mallory had been running for three years ever since getting pregnant and telling the father and him dying in a motorcycle accident. But when the her son's uncle, Hunter, finds them she has no choice but to return home never expecting to fall for the sexy biker or that she would confide in him with the truth of why she ran.

Hunter spends two years tracking down the girl who gave birth to his dead brother’s son so he can force her to return to his town and he can get to know his young nephew better. She has secrets - why she ran 3 yrs ago and never returned. He’s got secret’s about his brother’s last day before being murdered. They don’t expect to fall in love or to get sucked into why Noble was murdered and why she is in deadly danger. Great chemistry between them, super adorable kid, nice secondary characters and a good peek at MC life. No cheating and a HEA.

I really enjoyed this book. The banter between Mallory and Hunter was good. There is a bit of a mystery surrounding Mallory and why she disappeared 4 years earlier. The supporting characters are great and I look forward to the next book.

I think this author is relatively new but wow she writes a really good story. She’s right on par with famous authors like Joanna Wylde etc. I definitely recommend reading this! I’ve already downloaded the next 2 books in the series and hope she’s not done!

Like I said before, was reading an excerpt from JAX at the end of Jamie Begleys Dangerous Love and couldn't stop as I had to find out what happened there, but once I read that, i had to go back to the beginning which is this one, to see what happened with Hunter and Wolf and I gotta say I'm so not disappointed!!!! lol Not gonna get into it but it's everything you want from an MC and it makes no apologies for it. Action packed from beginning to end along with all the other great stuff, but you gotta read it yourselves to see what I'm rambling about, cuz I hate reviews giving it all up in the reviews, it's like a mate telling you what happens at the end of the film before you've watched it grrrrrr!!! Don't you understand the build up is the best bit to the climax!!! Knowing what the end is, is like brewers droop, very anti climactic!!!! Not good at all, anyways Ms. Fisher your doing a fine job and I look forward to so much more from this club!!!!! Good Luck!!!!

This book was a great read. The story had a lot of depth to it which kept you reading to find out where the twists and turns lead too.
I loved how the relationship between Hunter and Mallory developed. The right amount of build up, temptation and some hot scenes.
Highly recommend and I can't wait until the next book.

I really liked how this story was put together, though I felt she was a little extreme at the end with her running away, and even being so vocal about how the MC worked. It felt a little.... disrespectful to Hunter.

But they got past it and life was good
