Originally released by Prosthetic Records in 2012, “Sedition” showcases HOUR OF PENANCE at their most relentless, delivering some of the fastest and most crushing death metal ever recorded. The album contains nine tracks that highlight the band's intense and signature blend of apocalyptic soundscapes. A powerful and epic opus, it also marks, in hindsight, a reflection of the grandiose and increasingly technical direction death metal was taking at the time. The band commented: “’Sedition’ on vinyl, everybody! Our album ‘Sedition’ - originally released in 2012 by Prosthetic Records - will finally be available on vinyl in three different colors, thanks to our friends at Time To Kill Records (they also released our side project Coffin Birth a couple of years ago). ‘Sedition’ is a significant album for us; in many ways, it was our 'comeback' album on the scene.
