It tells the story of a soul who dies and descends to Hell, only to discover that eternity in the abyss feels like true freedom. Instead of punishment, the flames, chaos, and darkness become a source of joy and empowerment. “Burn My Angels” symbolizes the deliberate rejection of divine protection. By setting their guardian angels ablaze, the protagonist breaks free from any heavenly oversight and claims sovereignty over their fate. Inspired by the saying, “That person has a special place in Hell,” the song flips the sentiment on its head. The character proudly embraces that special place, celebrating Hell as their rightful home and finding purpose in the ever-burning fire that consumes all around them. About the album: After making their mark with their debut album, The Risen Dread returns with their highly anticipated second studio album. Produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Marco Mastrobuono at Bloom Studios in Guidonia, Rome, Italy.
