With just a few weeks to go before we file for bargaining and officially begin the process, it’s time for Unit 2 to elect its Bargaining Team.
Join us online on Monday, April 14th, where will host elections for the Unit 2 Bargaining Team. Bargaining is the most important thing we do as a Union, and so it’s vitally important that we have a strong, committed Bargaining Team to help advance our members’ priorities. Whether you have past bargaining experience or are looking to learn on the job, we encourage you to considering standing for election.
As a member of the Bargaining Team, you will have a front row seat as we research, draft, and table proposals for better working conditions for our members. You will be supported by the Executive Board, our staff, and our Bargaining Research Team, which has actively been researching and preparing proposals since December 2024. In addition to compensation for their time, members of the Bargaining Team also earn 0.5 seniority points for their service.
We hope to see you on April 14th – and we encourage you to consider standing for election to the Bargaining Team!
