  3. 3Big-Time Positions-We are still looking for people for several Officer positions -Fundraising Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator, and someone who is interested in providing leadership for PAW as Vice-President.To our young volunteers, taking one of these leadership positions, and learning, and succeeding is impressive on your professional resume. These positions are not demanding in terms of time, and others would definitelyhelp& support you.Medical Records Help-We arestill looking for someone to help with medical records for the dogs. This is a job that is done from home. The person needs to be detail oriented and good with data entry.I estimate about 3 hours a month will be required.Full training and support will be provided.GET YOUR DOGGIEQR CODE TAGS! Each of our adoptable dogs should now have a QR-code tag on their collar. If you are out and about with a PAW dog (on a walk, at a show, DDO, etc.) and someone inquires about the dog, please ask them to scan the tag, which will take them directly to the PAW list of adoptable dogs. 4. 4NEEDS FOSTER HOMEPlease contact Amy at dog-coordinator@paw-rescue.orgif you might be interested.CHONKis an outgoing, handsome Brindlewho wants to feel secure before he will let his beautiful and fun-loving light shine. Before coming to PAW,he waswith a foster in Harrisburg where hehappily playedin her home with her other dogs. Knowing that he needed more of an opportunity to find his person, he was brought to us and cannot wait to find his forever home.Chonk is a sweetheart! He takes treats gently from your hand, he likes tobe pet (he loves head rubs!), and he enjoysplaytime (a lot of playtime). Indoors or outdoors, solo with a toy or in roomful of dogs, he loves to jump, run, and be entertained. When he has worn himself out, Chonkenjoys relaxing comfortably in his crate or on the floor, and his size would make him the perfect buddy to curl up and nap with on the couch!Chonk would be great fun in a yard with a ball. He would be amazing in a home withanother dog who can match his energy. They could play all day and then curl up together for sweet dreams.RAYNE–If Rayne were a human, she would be a supermodel. She is a willowy young girl with long thin legs and a beautiful face framed by perfectly shaped and expressive brows. Rayne has a sweet demeanor, she is easy going, and she loves getting scratches;especially behindher ears.Rayne was rescued from PG County's euthanasia list, and she is loving her new-found freedom! She loves to ride in the car, enjoys the fresh air onher face, and the rediscovered feelingof freedom! She appreciatesall of the spring smells and wags her tail when other dogs pass. She loves to walk and is easy on leash. Sitting in the grass and watching the world around her, Rayne is a content dog who is looking to find a home where she can rest easilyin the comfort and safety of her forever home.DOBBYis a 5-year-old, 84-lb mixed breed with perhaps Great Dane and terrier. He does not weigh that because he is tall -he is a chunky monkey who needs to lose a few pounds! He has lived in a home for the past three years but sadly was given up when the family had medical issues. He is a happy friendly boy, who listens well. He's great company, very attentive, great with children, great with family.Dobby is a big snuggle bug.He wants to give kisses to every person he meets. As an adult dog he does not have overwhelming exercise needs -he is happy playing in the yard and walking around the block.
  5. 5HUCK **SENIOR** Huck is an older gentleman who despite his age, is spry and strong. He loves to walk and sniff, and he is very interestedin his surroundings. Huck likes the sound of his own voice and is generous in sharing his hound sound with all who will listen!Huck is a sweetheart and a good soul who was one of the shelters favorites. A good boy who loves to please, Huck will make a great companion for an individual or a family. Will you be the person who gives that gift to this deserving guy!?OLLIEis a sweet boy who just wants a good snuggle. He was separated from his brother in southern Virginia and seeks a home where he can find a new sense of belonging and comfort. If you are Ollie's person/people, he will climb in your lap and seek physical affection. He is a lover looking for a willing recipient. At 3years old and 27 pounds, Ollie is a great size for any lifestyle. He is good with other dogs but loves people even more. He was a favorite at the shelter from which he came. Ollie is a sniffer and will exhaust himself on a good walk where he can explore the new spring scents. He does love exercise, but his sense of smell often keeps him busy in a small area. Ollie is young, sweet, and eager to please. He would be equally great in a home with a yard where he can play chase with a ball as he would be in a home where he didn't have yard but enjoyed multiple walks a day --just as long as there is snuggle time in between! If you are looking for a buddy who will show love and appreciation for a well-deserved life of safety and comfort, look no further than sweet Ollie.ALUMNI UPDATESLOTTIE(right)is still doing great! She seems to be fully adjusted to our home. We bought her new doggie stairs to get on and off the kids beds. She loves sleeping at the bottom of their beds at night and they love it too. She's getting lots of love and attention. Thanks for checking in-TraciRAY-RAYis doing great with us. He has started to find his voice/bark.He enjoysgiving the high school students and squirrels a hearty bark hello. His infection has cleared up.He loves going hiking-LisaLEELA-We are very happy to report Leela recently completed her treatment, and her initial test(s) were all heartworm free! She’s the center of our world and our little adventure companion so we couldn’t be happier to welcome the first day of Spring...All the best and thank you for all your organization does"Ryan Blumberg
