I also posted about it sometime ago. Europe, mostly Germany, is trying to increase cooperation with China to offset damage caused by conflict with Russia against the wishes of the US. Russia and China are two big markets which were still not fully colonized by the US and those untapped markets are targets of the US. That’s why the US doesn’t want Europe to cooperate with China. It was mentioned in a debate between John Mearsheimer and Carl Bild 7 months ago.
